Nice looking stadium. This would have had a much better atmosphere if done in a sold out Loftus Rd imo! Will the Russian team get booed when they emerge?
Not got the Olympic spirit at all yet. The doping stuff has taken the shine off it, and the time difference doesn't help. Mind you I was pretty cynical about the London games, but ended up loving it. Probably perk up once we start winning some medals. Don't really count Froome though, if he does well today.
OK, changed the title as no other Olympic threads have yet emerged. I have so far enjoyed the cycling and these guy's have some serious stamina!
Actually the cycling road race is hypnotic. These blokes give everything, but as usual cretinous fans getting in the way. Geraint Thomas still in with a shout.
Well it's a real shame to see so many empty seats so far from what I have seen on TV. One million unsold tickets at present. If it stays the same they should give a load away to the long suffering locals imo! Sadly would never happen!
