As an outsider, I would say the British gold of the games was Nick Skelton in the show jumping today. Consistently one of the best in his sport for over 40 years. Delighted for him. He seems a decent chap.

 

We were battered for the majority of the match. The penalty shoot out was never in doubt with Maddie Hinch outstanding. Yes, I get a bit emotional

 

You should have taken photographic evidence of that. I could do with a good laugh
