I think we will find out soon enough whether it is Warren Joyce connection with City, is the reason these young guns joined to us, or NP's.
Brady came here to improve himself, ManU sent him here to improve him for their own purposes; anything we get out of the deal was a Brucey Bonus as far as they are concerned. What Brady does next is more down to ManU than Brady and the fact that he has been told he is to be recalled for contract talks is a million miles away from saying he is going to get one; it is probably a carrot to entice his best game out of him - because we, and therefore ManU, have not been seeing that. It's great having a talent, but if it is so precious that it can only be coaxed out for royal premieres then it is no good to a team such as ours - passengers who can only offer an occasional sing-song and then fall asleep offer too little to the team effort - Brady is in danger of being such a player. He has a talent, but he needs to stop taking that bushel into the game with him! Dewar and Atkinson - conversation ends ther - we are supposed to be moving forward. Garcia - I agree, a good man to have around. Oli - I wonder what Nick's take on this will be - what do you think? Jagerbombs - 2 per positive goal difference per game is mandatory, so 4 were the order of the day last night! Nicky IS going to be an expensive manager for me and I just don't care - the more goals the merrier I will be - YO HO HO!!!
Is it me or is he massively over-rated? Well no, probably not just me as Rosie has been quite vocal in his criticism. Yeah he's done ok - no better - and thanks for his time however I honestly think now they're fit I'd prefer Garcia right and Cam left anyway.
He won't get into United's first team just yet, I can't see why he's going back and he'd be better off staying here to gain more experience. Has the potential to be a good player and he can develop as a player here. Maybe there's a chance that Wigan, Blackburn or someone near the bottom end of the premier league is in for him?
Can't see him getting near the Man Utd first team quite yet. Even JS Park struggles to get games and you can tell that Fergie really rates him. Nani, Young, Valencia, Park etc... are all very good wingers which would be ahead of Brady at the moment. However, I can see him getting there eventually if he continues to improve. He has great potential, so I wouldn't be surprised if Man Utd wanted to give him a bit of a go. Obviously you can't argue with Brady wanting to go as far as possible, so he will take the best option in January. Hopefully his "best option" is us. As I say, I doubt he will get near the Man Utd team in the second half of the season, so perhaps his options are either to stay on loan with us, or maybe they are thinking about loaning him to a Premier League side? I suppose it depends on how quickly they want him to progress, maybe they could leave him with us for the rest of the season, then loan him out to a PL side next season. Alternatively, they could loan him to a PL side in January, and then give him a go in the League Cup etc... for Man Utd next season. Whatever happens, I hope it works out for him, it would be great to see him become a top player.
He won't get anywhere the United first team, as already mentioned above, he's not even making our starting XI. There's no doubting his skill on the ball, but we're not playing Skill School, we're playing league football and he's still got a lot to learn, his decision making is often poor. If I was Man United, I'd have flogged us Brady and kept hold of Stewart, in fact I think Stewart, Chester and Dudgeon are all better players than Brady.
still think he will sign for the rest of the season but the only way of getting him permanently would be to get promoted as people quoting 750k for him would be way off the mark united would want at least double that if not more
No way should we pay more than £750k for Brady at the moment. There is doubt he is much better than Cameron for whom we paid £300k (I think) to Manu. Why would we pay £1.5m for Brady? I think he is a good player and will get better, but it's a gamble if we shelled out big style at this time in his career.
i dont think id even sign brady if given the option. surely there's better options out there for us in january.
Listening to a recent interview with that judas Peasron, he said one area he was looking to improve upon would be the wide areas. I think people are being a bit harsh on Brady - he has a high opinion of himself but nowt wrong with that. Lots more to come from him - needs to accept its a team game for starters. NB will sort him out.
Wow, a guy can't even make a half-hearted, top-of-the-head suggestion without being jumped on anymore. I can't say I know much about the lad, and wasn't aware that he was the new Joey Barton. I am so, so sorry that I offended you.....
Tap in from 6 yards, did nowt else except blaze one over from about 8 yards. Nicky Maynard looked ok though.
the way i see it is : 1/ if he wants to play for united, he's better off staying with us until end of season at least, to improve and show more... if he goes back now he's almost at the same point as he was before he came. 2/ if there are other loan options, why would he leave? why would man u loan him out somewhere else? unless he doesn't like it here. 3/ if there are other teams willing to buy him , maybe better propositions than us then why talk about his dream of playing for man u. I don't see us buying him if he wants to be a man u player but I don't see how him staying with us until end of may could do him any harm in achieving his dreams.
To play in the PL? Goes to a struggling PL side and shows he can do a decent job for them and either Man U hang onto him for next season, or they get to stick a 0 on the end of any transfer fee they're asking. And from Brady's point of view he's not risking anything by joining a side that gets relegated despite him being good enough to play PL so he can still be in PL next season. Goes to a struggling PL side and doesn't show it then he's still got more experiance to try and get another club in the summer than he has just playing for us.
I think the following link, puts a clear picture of the situation with him at the moment. http://www.tribalfootball.com/artic...loan-decision-2191801?utm_source=feed_newsnow
He would better of staying with us than going somewhere like the chicken pluckers at Blackburn,or others in a similar position to them. He would be under pressure to perform all the time and that isn't going to happen at his age.
