Any chance you could elaborate on the highlighted bit? I'm quite curious :emoticon-0104-surpr

Bringing the thread back to its original topic. I love having Pritchard in the team, he seems to be CP's little project, and its great to see a player rise up from non-league to playing in The Championship (and some day hopefully, The Premier League). You could see just how much the goal meant to him - his hand on head/shock on face [accidental] celebration was one of the most touching reactions to a goal I've ever seen.

To put a downer on it though, I personally feel the only reason he is in the starting XI is precisely because he's CP's 'project'. I don't think he offers more in any aspects of his game (aside from his never-say-die attitude) than any other player in his position. He can be awfully frustrating to watch and seem's to try too hard at times. As Super' has said a few times, his constant desire to chase/win back the ball leaves his midfield partner overworked and trying to play the role of two CM's at once. At the head of a 5 man midfield away from home though, I can see what Pritchard can add.

I think after last night's catastrophic performance at Valley Parade, this move might be under review right now. He was always going to go in January, but as well as Bradford played last night, Arsenal were just awful.

Think it was a fans meeting, maybe Bromley Addicks, where Murray said that Youga, Semedo and Racon were by far and away the biggest earners at the club. Figures were mentioned as 8k, 6k and 6k per week, not necessarily in that order.

I think it was also said at the same meeting that the average wage was 3k per week.

In my mind, it was in the first L1 season, but McLeod and Bailey would've been at the club then, so it was probably in the second L1 season, maybe the same meeting where Murray told of Parkinson paying the loan fee for Borrowdale. I will have a look around for a link, but it's at least 2 years ago now.
