Der!

It appears that this lad will not be with us much more. I feel so sorry for him and his family. Big shout out to Jermaine Defoe who cannot do a thing wrong in my opinion. In these days of multi million pound salaries for footballers and their detachment from the real world, this story stands as testament to the few stars of our game who go out of their way to bring a little happiness to their fans.

God bless him and his family in the difficult times that lay ahead.

This is such a tragic story about poor young Bradley's health. Well done Jermaine for giving so much to Bradley in his short life and for supporting his family through these unimaginable circumstances.

Such a heartbreaking story. Moreso that it is widely reported. My company has an account with both GOSH and the Royal Marsden and I regularly transport kids to and from the hospitals and it really is very sad when you see what so many kids are going through in their treatment. As Hoops Eternal says it really isn't fair...

A very sad story and such a shame that Bradley is losing his battle with his illness. It was quite touching to read about the friendship that he and Defoe had formed since last season and goes to show that some footballers are decent human beings too.

Defoe gets all types of criticism within football; regardless he has shown his human side and shown many young footballers how they should be behaving in society- all credit to him. Thoughts with the family and Bradley.

It is a tragic story but really touching story...and what Defoe says is so meaningful
"Away from football the relationship I've managed to develop with Bradley and what I've brought to his life and what he's brought to mine has been really special,"

I would certainly support Defoe as Personality of the year.
Bless you Bradley and your family

A brave little lad who seems to of been a real nice boy as well.
Such sad news but glad he's not in pain anymore.
I hope his legacy gives hope to many more children in that terrible situation.
RIP Brad
