Disappointing to lose when I thought we were the better side overall but we do seem to have lost our cutting edge at the moment. Our approach play was good but the crossing and shooting from distance was generally poor so we did not bring their keeper into play until relatively late in the game. Though Whalley was our most threatening player and had our best moments I thought his corners were very poor- what is the point of bringing two big centre halves fifty yards up the pitch if you cannot clear the first man? It was a great shame about Abu's red card as I do not think we would have lost the last two games with him playing. It is really important to play a strong side against Morecambe and hopefully score a few goals and get back to winning ways. It would be great to get a tie against a Premiership side if we get to the third round and see how good our side is.
