descent looking finisher and good height and build but look at the opposition and the difference in class he will have to face, but that's not to say he cant hack it and as there is interest all over the place for him then he has to be worth a punt
According to the BBC, Swans have made a bid of £100,000 for Donnelly but the club are yet to confirm it. Brentford have also made a bid. Looks a very tidy prospect for that money if we can get him.

As a Cliftonville season card holder I can tell you that Rory is some prospect. Quick as lightning and a deadly finish. If I had one slight concern it would be his build, very slight but still young. Full time training would sort that out. We have won our last 13 matches, a club record, and Rory would be the main reason behind that. He has scored three hat tricks already. I would like to have him for the title run in but the club wouldn't hold him back. The money would be nice too, £100,000 to a club our size is massive. I hope he would go to you guys over Liverpool as I fear he could disapear if he went to the Scousers. You guys having Brendy Rodgers also helps. swans deny ever tabling £100k for the lad so i dont know. with liverpool after him then if they really want him then they will out bid anything we do. the lad is guaranteed games with us while at liverpool he will be well down the pecking order so if he had the final say he should join us...
Just going by the press, the club is having a meeting later on in the week about it. I will keep you posted with what I hear. I agree, I want him at Swansea. He's a cracker.
We should be able to match whatever Liverpool bid, if Donnolley's worth it! It's going to be a small (relative to the PL) transfer fee really, and has been said, even if it got to 200/300k, it'd still be a fairly small fee, but the difference it would make to Cliftonville would be huge. Hope we get him.

Not at all! I'm just very aware he could score a hat-trick tomorrow and some other PL club could price us out of it though! Still, I'm confident in Buck's ability and decision making, and if he (Donnelly) doesn't want to come here as a first-choice then I don't want him here!
