Can't remember the last time we had something to play for by this stage of the season. So lets relegate Wigan! <laugh>

Only three games of the season left, all to play for -
  • Is this the closest title race since Siam pipped GLAM on a bonus point in 2011? First Division rookie @william5551 has defied all pre season expectations to dominate the top tier this season but he hasn't been able to shake the persistent @irishbluebird, who is only missing silverware from an exemplary BPPL career. With only a point separating the pair, surely the next CS will be crucial? If it finishes level Irish has the higher CS tally.
  • Probably to far to be considered in contention @jonahbluebird will have to settle for the revival of his 1st Division career and T4 seeding in next years Capaldi Cup. Who claims the last position appears to be between last seasons promoted pair of @Barry Tiger and @taffthefish.
  • The relegation situation is impossible to predict but it appears that it will be two of @BluefromBridgend. @Sayer77, @ninian opinion and @hampshire Blue. Although myself and @ccfcremotesupport could still be dragged back in! Could last seasons Champion or the leading silverware holder be relegated? Remember that Hampshire and Bfb will pick up a bonus point <ok>
  • Record points scorer @whiffletree will be sent back to Div II this weekend if he fails to close the gap on Sayer or Bfb to less than 6 points. (Currently 5)
  • @Jay-RedeCCFC has had a stunning season considering his miserable previous attempts at mastering City's predicting fortunes and requires only a point over @bluescull to mathematically confirm the 2nd tier trophy. Apologies Jay you should have a P next to your name.
  • @Rumney Bluebird has finally added some CS's to his fearsome ability to get the correct result to spark some life into the race for the 2nd automatic promotion slot. Bluescull will remain favorite however, will a 2 point advantage over Rumney.
  • @danablu and @isawronnymoorescore are pretty much confirmed as fixtures in this years Playoffs but a late CS for either could add complications to Sculls and Rumney's hunt for top tier predicting.
  • @Oldsparkey is probably all to familiar with the position he finds himself in. Like last season where Sparks had the last playoff slot snatched away on the final season, @mustyfrog is close behind. @blueturk the cat can probably taste the disappointment of losing his playoff slots two year consecutively to Sparky so there's probably some poetic justice in the Turk only being a point further back. Sparks remains the favorite however, with the bonus point and higher CS tally.
  • @FrankfurterBlue might not finish bottom. @Dai Jones and @Stevoldinho have joined in him the scrap for bottom place.
 
Methinks Wigan will scrap for their lives so it'll be no walk over as Brighton the probable Champions found out .....

so I'll get my (Sparky) retaliation in first and go for 2-2 Pilks

Great work as ever Sheepy. Why do Hampshire and I get a bonus point? Is it that we are devilishly good looking or are you feeling sorry for us or is it that if we send in predictions for the last 3 games we will have predicted for every game this season? Or something else?
 
Thanks Sheep. I didn't know I'd already gained promotion!! Damn it, will have to save the champers for the weekend now! <laugh>.

Back to Division 2 for me, by the looks of it guys. Too much faith in us winning games this year methinks.
Still I'll go for a 2 - 1 City win, with Kenneth to rediscover his goal scoring boots.

Cheers again for running this Sheep-man. Really enjoyed this in an otherwise average season.
 
Haven't predicted a City loss for ages but I think this could be it.

Wigan 1 - 0 City with Warnock spitting blood on the touchline at another average performance.
