Typical end of season game for the prediction league for me. Safe in the middle of the playoffs - no chance of the autos and Masky can't catch me unless Sheepy awards him double points for a lend of Doris........<laugh>

So no pressure - City to win by 2 clear goals and Bamba to get one to cap a great season for him.The scoreline? Hmmm......2-0, 3-1, 4-2 or 5-3?

This could be a nail biter and I reckon Chris Martin will score aganst us - he always bloody does. <steam>

I'll go for a blistering 4-2 game full of drama with the right result at the end - well you can always hope.

Will thank William for going first , usually I would go for a loss as he’s gone for a win but i cant do that for such a big game ,i will go for a comfortable 3-0 win with zohore to score , thanks

Last game of the season and I could sink into the relegation zone and drop to the lower league. Dam those early morning games (02:45 am) and that missed prediction. If I predict now, surely Ninian Opinion & Blue Sheep will mirror my prediction and consign me to the lower league for next season.

I will go sit in a corner now rock back and forth gently whimpering about the cruelty of the race.

Ah, just saw Ninian's prediction.... must start thinking about my scorer.

Right we can do this 3-1 Kardifff. Big KZ to score!

P.S. If this goes to plan I may be out of action for a while so don’t expect an update soon <laugh>

    Cmon City!

AARGHHHHHH, the pain increases. Blue, I was gonna go for that scoreline and goal scorer... time to rethink.

WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE! (And God my head hurt this morning! <laugh>)

And here is your final 17/18 BPPL Table - Reading persistence refusing the yield many points so down to Bonus Points it goes!

    upload_2018-5-7_14-25-56.png

    • Starting at the top - congratulations to @william5551 <cracker> as he is the 17/18 BPPL Division I Champion! The perfect response to narrowing missing out last season, this time he clings on to the title after @Rumney Bluebird can't make up the 3 point gap. But still a very good debut top flight season for Rumney <ok>
    • The bonus point proves crucial in the fight for the drop - @ninian opinion manages to lift himself clear just as the trap door closed. Despite great thought for @taffthefish over his final prediction, City's inability to take one of the many chances meant that it didn't matter in the end, and that Taff is relegated again <wah> Sheep survives by the finest margin!
    • For the 2nd time @whiffletree is the Division II Champion after the BP and high CS tally ensure a straight return to the Top Flight. And finally a breakthrough for @danablu - after so much Playoff heartbreak he finally manages to secure automatic promotion! That means that it is @Sayer77 who will have to face the Playoff lottery. However, he has already been promoted via the Playoffs before and his head to head record is quite scary.... <yikes>
    • @Masky can't muster the point he needed to crash the Playoff party and misses out narrowly to @Dai Jones & @FrankfurterBlue (who manages to cling on just). Their reward is a face off with Sayer and @Oldsparkey - thread up soon for Friday's first leg.
That's nearly a wrap then fellas - back soon with the Post Season thread. <ok>

Hope your all basking in the warm glow of promotion! <cheers>

Well, I guess next season will give a wider range of results possible and a wider range of predictions. But we still have playoffs to go. Interesting that in Div 1 there was the gap of one CS between relegated and playoffs!!!!
Once again, Mr Sheep...a great job done and many thanks.

Congratulations to William <cheers> but beware the curse of winning the league! <doh><laugh>
Also well done to Whiffletree and Danablue on their promotion and the guys in the play-offs. Speaking of which what a brilliant day on Sunday. What an atmosphere.
And of course many thanks to Mr Bluesheep for all his efforts running the BPPL. Don't forget to predict every game next season <laugh>
Now, when are the fixtures out? BLUEBIRDS!
