Already a big game for City this early in the season. Whilst Preston were poor in their late season showing earlier this year, they were tough to beat at home and should be more than enough of a challenge for this City side.

Bloody Pilks!!! I was on for a correct result and score!!!

Indeed Bfb, I also missed out thanks to Pilks injury time consolidation - but hopefully he'll score more for it! An interesting afternoon in terms of the league as almost every bodies prediction could have come true across the course of the game (even Spark's 2-2 draw would have been on if the ref had blown up for a foul proceeding Norwich's final goal) In the end, not at lot changes

Also welcome back @Swamp <ok>

Morning folks, yep as one earlier poster state we are in poor form at the moment and as for being tough to beat at home, we have lost all three home league games this season and have not won at home since 23/2/2016, however we are brilliant atacking football except that our opponents always seem to score one more than us.
Seriously though we've been slightly unlucky in the two home defeats I've seen Derby scraped a late winner, and we were battering Barnsley until the gaffer made a momentum losing substitution.
Grayson is under presure and needs a win, hopefully against your lads, suspect travellng suppport will be ion the small side, safe journey to those that venture north.

I'm fairly optimistic about this one, please City, don't let me eat my words!!

PNE 1 - 2 CCFC, Lambert with one please Mr Sheep <ok>

After watching the vids of the Norwich game, it looks to me we've got enough in the side to beat Preston, but it needs to start clicking together.

Preston don't score many but that's been our problem too so I'm going for a draw - maybe even a boring 0-0 is on the cards after our "goal glut" on Saturday.

Sheepy - gimme a 0-0 result please with everyone not scoring.........<laugh>
