A much sterner task faces City at the CCS than Bolton Wanderers on Satruday - the playoff chasing Smoggies with new manager Pulis in tow will be much more difficult to break down than an overweight David Wheater.

All moves down the bottom of D1 - big pointers for @Barry Tiger & @irishbluebird mean than its a bad night for @Jay-RedeCCFC & @jonahbluebird. In the 2nd tier, @FrankfurterBlue revives his automatic promotion hopes it what has been a quite comfortable ride for @Sayer77 & @danablu this far.

This is going to be a real test. Their league position does not relate to their potential and they have improved since Pulis took over. Pulis - that is a clue as to how they will play.

I just took a look at their squad with players like Darren Randolph (Dimi Dropolotopoulos could be sub <yikes>), George Friend, Ayala, Ben Gibson, Leadbitter, Clayton, Howson, Besic, Downing, Adama Traore, Assombalonga, Bamford and our old favourite Rudi Gestede.

Apart from Man City, on paper that is the strongest visiting group of players we have seen this season.

Thankfully we play on grass not paper but our guys will have to be at the top of their form to beat these.

While I would love us to win, I think a draw is more likely, 1 - 1, with Madine to score for us. I will edit that if he is still not fit on Saturday.

I see Warnock says Madine is unlikely to be fit for Saturday - although you never know. Hope Zohore has recovered from the knock he took v. Bolton. If Madine is out Sheepy, I will go for Paterson as scorer. Thanks.

Keeping them out will be key - they've scored more goals away from home than they have at the Riverside and they don't let that many in on the road either. I think it'll be a tight game with a goal in it in favour of City, either 1-0 or 2-1

I'll plump for the 1-0 result with a goal from Ralls deciding it.

Agree that this will be a tight match. Going for us riding out our luck to a 1-0 win with Ralls scoring from the spot!

Head says a draw but I’m going to stick my neck out for a 2-1 City win. Morrison to continue his scoring run
