No other options then after the 2nd half disaster at Pride Park last night - if we are to go up automatically it is likely that we will need to win at Hull on Saturday. Fulham should take Sunderland to the cleaners on Friday night to ramp up the pressure - and banking on Monk's Birmingham to help us out is probably a stretch too far. Whilst historically not a good place for us, we've already won at trouble grounds in Suffolk, Norfolk and the North East so its certainly not beyond us. To the KC for this season's defining fixture! With almost everyone expecting City to beat Reading on the final day - this match will also be crucial in the BPPL. Here are the permutations - There weren't many points shared from last nights fiasco but a CR for @william5551 did lift him above @Rumney Bluebird and into the lead for this seasons Championship. However, as Rumney has more CS's and will claim a BP William will need to be more than a point clear come the end of the season (so currently it is still in Rumney's hands) For both getting the result on Saturday correct will be crucial, a CS for win either the title. Defending Champion @irishbluebird requires a CS from the KC match otherwise he will be relegated and bring an end to 6 seasons of top flight predicting @Jay-RedeCCFC short stint in the top tier was confirmed last weekend. The last relegation spot is still very much in play and it is likely that we will have a clearer picture come Saturday evening. As it stands, it is @taffthefish & @ninian opinion who looks most at risk (a combination of no BP's or low CS tally). Barring a disaster, @Barry Tiger should be safe. Unusually, it is still all to play of in terms of automatic promotion. A big point for @danablu last night means that he has turned it round and goes top with 2 games left. However, his CS tally is less than both @whiffletree & @Sayer77. With both a high CS tally and BP, it looks like Whiffle is favorite to be promoted. A CS for any of the trio at this stage would certainly mean promotion and probably the title. Two playoff places left, three competing for them. Despite a strong start to the season @FrankfurterBlue has floundered of late and finds himself only a point above @Dai Jones & @Masky. The pair have fought an incredible battle throughout the 2nd half of the season but neither has been able to get the better of the other. Like City, this will go all the way to the wire. P.S I'm absolutely bricking it Ta
We just have to win. I don't think I could bear the play-offs Hull 1-2 Bluebirds. Madine has got to score sometime, hasn't he?
2 1 to us altho' in other circumstances I would have gone for the draw. Morrison to bag one. Got to get ahead of Dai and Masky since they will pick up a bonus point and I missed a prediction somewhere. And that prediction would have been a CS too, I reckon.
'Ull 1 v 2 Blooooobirds KZ to score, please. Cheers. Lying second, occupying last automatic promotion place. Need two wins from the last two games to guarantee promotion, other wise its' play-off time. Biggest 2 games ever. Talk about 'squeeky' bum time. Hope Bluebirds do OK as well.
Can't see us winning after Tuesday's shambles. My glass has emptied and been cleaned in the dishwasher. I can only see the playoffs beckoning probably against Direby. So, the best I can do is a 2.2 draw with Morrison to score again. I will be absolutely delighted to see us win and for me to drop into the Prediction League relegation zone.
If Madine gets the better of Dawson tomorrow and scores, I'll forgive him everything..... Got to go with a 3 point result for us......Hull 0 - 1 Bloobs. Tempted to go with Madine but I'll say Ralls getting the goal.
Hull have got 4 players injured - 2 players banned - 4 going to a wedding and 1 can't get a day off from Tesco so I'll go for a match postponed due to waterlogged pitch (sprinklers left on all night by mistake) or showers not working
Right we know what we have to do and the boys will make up for their awful 2nd half performance at Derby. Hull 0 Cardiff 1 Morrison to clinch the winner Come on you Blues
