Beginning to wish I wasn't going to QPR on Monday after the three festive defeats. Looking at QPR's performance tonight there can only be one result; QPR 0 Bluebirds 0 Happy New Year City fans
Well after that abysmal showing against Preston we could be looking at our fourth straight defeat. So I'll put my positive hat on and go for a goalless draw against QPR. Come on Bluebirds, prove me wrong....please!!
2-0 to us in a clash of the extrovert managers. Hoilett to score please Mr sheep. Looking forward to the post match interviews whatever the result. Have a good evening everyone and safe travels to those heading up the M4. Let's see what the footballing gods bring us in 2018. Agony or extecy?
1.1 draw. Zohore to score. Thanks for all your work to keep this going in 2017 Sheepy. Happy New Year everyone.
Echo your thoughts taff fish about today. Can’t see us winning but hey ho will predict we will 1-0 with a Healey winner. Happy New Year to all posters
Don't think we can afford to lose today from a psychological point of view let alone dropping points. It's got to be a turn around this afternoon. QPR 0 - 2 City. The scorer I haven't got a clue and may change when the teamsheet comes out, but for now I'll go for Big Ken.
Table following our miserable games against Preston & QPR below A quick roundup as we past the halfway stage in the league - Things continue to remain tight at the top, and with such a frugal Christmas period, points have become a lot more important. @ninian opinion had sent himself top on Boxing Day with a point for Zohore's goal but @Rumney Bluebird has since drawn level after been the only prediction for a QPR win. Only 2 points separate the Top 6. The Championship must be cursed as for the 2nd year the defending Champion has endured a woeful defense of the title. Unlike @Sayer77, @irishbluebird has shown signs of recovery and may yet escape relegation after a disastrous opening half of the campaign. For the past 3 seasons, the predictor bottom on Boxing Day has gone on to be relegated, which doesn't bode well for @Barry Tiger - whilst @Jay-RedeCCFC has struggled to adapt to the First Division and is in free fall! After seasons of playoff misery @danablu has started the season well and has managed to wrestle top spot off the well decorated @Sayer77 (The Div II title being the only piece of silverware he has yet to get his hands on) Both have a relatively comfortable buffer but could yet be usurped by @whiffletree, who also has experience of escaping this division. @FrankfurterBlue opened the season well but has since dropped back into the playoffs, a vast improvement of last seasons disastrous finish. Playoff perennial @Oldsparkey and a refreshed @Masky complete the playoff picture but @Dai Jones lurks dangerously close by. Big 2nd half season needed if @blueturk the cat or @isawronnymoorescore are to muster a challenge!
Thanks for the update Sheepy - must admit the gap opening up between bottom and top is beginning to worry me!
