City return to action this weekend to begin the annual festive season fixture crush. Unbeaten at home and licking our wounds from our Severnside defeat, will the return of the Ken and Arron boost Cardiff's fortune's once more?
Well I hope we perform better than after the last break when Birmingham saw us off! If we haven't overtrained or over indulged we should hopefully get a result against a decent Brentford side who are unbeaten in the their last eight games. This should be close one but I'll go for for the Bluebirds to nick it 2-1 with Hoilett on the scoresheet.
Close one this 4-1 City, Zohore if he’s playing, MDL if he’s not, Hoilett if MDL’s not hmmm...know wot I mean Harry?
Looking at their recent results there will be goals. 2.2 With big Ken to score on his return. If Ken doesn't start as Colin indicated this morning then NML to get back on the score sheet. Sure to be a nil all draw then.
3 1 for us, I see. Everyone rested and raring to go. Junior Howlett to surprise everyone and bag one.
Don't like to predict this but I fancy Brentford. CITY 1 BRENTFORD 2 City's scorer - Own goal I deserve to be relegated after that!
Brentford are tricky opposition, but I think we'll be too strong for them. Bluebirds 3 - 0 Brentford I fancy ML to get back on the goal trail.
You'd imagine there'd be goals in this one. They've scored more than us but have let a lot more in as well. Got to go for a City win at home but I doubt we'll keep a clean sheet. I'll go for City 3 - 2 Brentford result with Mendez getting back in scoring mode again. As an aside and listening to Warnock, I reckon if Gonzo starts or comes on, he'll score.
