Thank god someone has a mind of their own and dont believe everything the press say about players!

I think young player of the year winner will either be, Ben Davies, Luke Shaw, Benteke, Lukaku. Probably Benteke or Lukaku because that's all the FA look at are a goal tally!

Probably just us. A combination of bias, and nobody else really knowing how good he is.

Chico is great. A real rock. Much better than Williams this season. As for Schneiderlin he has more tackles, interceptions and covered more ground than any player in the whole league.

Surely Saints will start the voting for Saints Fans' Player of the Season soon?

I'm voting Schneiderlin. Lambert close. Notable mentions for Clyne and Shaw, as well as Cork. And Jay. Boruc also. Oh and Yoshida.

Best not forget Lallana, or Jason. Or Gaston for that matter. Or Jos and Jose. Kelvin can have one too, and Paulo.

    But yeah, I'm pretty decided.

The original posters team is really good I think but I'd put Carrick in for Cazorla. Schniederlin would be very close...He has been absolutely sensational....Have to find some way of fitting Michu into the team as well!

No chance with his current choice of slippery studs. Needs to get that sorted next year.

That's the sort of thing that can be sorted at half-time.

I think Lambert has been the best forward this season.

We should also do a DOTY (Disappointments of the year):

    GK Reina

    DR Sagna
    DL Fabio
    DC Samba

    MF Sinclair
    MF Mayuka
    MF Park
    MF Granero
    MF Nani

    ST Adebayor
    ST Pogrebnyak

Subs: Hart, Cameron, Garcia, Valencia, Rodwell, Chamakh, Graham.

Can't argue with that, except you've included Valencia twice. Is Nani meant to be one of them?

No way should Rio Ferdinand be included, was at Man U when he came on as sub against us and he was woeful. His performances have been steady at best this season, certainly not outstanding. Chico, Vertonghen, Shawcross, Jagielka have all had good seasons. Smalling and Evans been as good as Rio imo.

Remember Ferdinand marking Beattie out the game playing for Leeds when they beat us 1-0 at St Mary's, he was superb and his pace was frighteningly quick.

If it has been Nani, then I would agree! To be honest I forgot Ashley Young too, is the time of the winger over?

Not sure about Scott Sinclair being included, he hasn't really had enough of a crack at it for me. Maybe most disappointing career decisions team for him?

I think of Nani as the rich man's Steve De Ridder.

Well I should have included Borini too. Surely it is a disappointing season for him, in all aspects.

Not a great player studier, but have been very impressed with Wellbeck. Seems to get very little praise yet does so much that is pure quality.

We are all assuming that everyone will vote according to their true feelings, but most have axes to grind. In the player of the year vote, Jos as good as said that he voted for RVP because of his nationality (obviously a top contender as well).
