He scored on his Hearts debut, we may have made a big mistake not signing him. i know now that Burton won't finish above after him leaving. Oh wait they can have Grigg !

He also said after that he was allowed to speak to is last week but then we couldn't agree a fee. Penny pinching bastards.

is that in a quote/on a newsclip? interesting if so as it would contradict other reports about his signing/move to Hearts rather than us.

this is one that made quote up

We don’t know the facts though. It’s easy to say “****, we could not even afford £150k” and “Donald is a ****er”, but this transfer may have been on the back of Grigg departing and he said ‘no’ to Salford apparently.
probably best if we wait to see where we are after 5pm Friday when the window is closed

There is absolutely no guarantee that because he scored a goal for another club on his debut he would be 24 carat certainty to bang em in for us.
That is about as empirical as walking under ladders and friday 13th . Utter hogwash.
One of our 'issues' is that for many we could be viewed as a club in turmoil, a not unreasonable viewpoint.
Our ownership and owner have a stench around them that isn't going to go away any time soon.
Despite the innocuous 'exoneration ' given by the super soaraway Sun, Donald continues to have more question marks than a market survey.
Donald doesnt want to spend money he wants to make money.
He clearly wants at least macgeady and grigg gone before he will contemplate increasing our wage bill or spending fees, a not unreasonable stance, notwithstanding grigg was a monumental mistake perpetrated by SD and his sidekick hopeless Hill. 3-4m in this league would normally buy you a lot of player(s).
12 liam boyces anyone?

I do strongly think we'll have a good indication of where the club is both on and off the pitch by Friday. Until then there's plenty of capacity to be surprised.
