I feel it’s the wrong decision but am I surprised? Not one bit. Half expected it tbh.
You certainly cant second guess the score cards these days been some shocking ones especially in this country recently

Joshua looked back to his old self in his last fight.Anthony Joshua vs Francis Ngannou tonight.
Get ready to be shocked?
I have to admit that I had never heard of Ngannou until he fought an out of shape Tyson Fury. Looked to me that Fury didn't put an awful lot of effort into training for that fight, was complacent and nearly paid the price.I’ve watched a lot of Ngannou over the years and how competitive he was with Fury was great to see, I reckon he lands a massive meat hook on AJ, who doesn’t have the best chin, and puts him away.

AJ looked very good in his last fight, but we shall see...

He didn't look out of place at all against Fury and is a beast of a man. AJ is in for a tough fight. All true, but from the Ngannou perspective, that was Ngannous boxing debut, he has never fought under those rules before and looked great, he has had 6 months to get better as a beginner and has also talked about his nervousness of the unknown in the Fury fight, he’s a lot more confident about going 10 rounds in boxing rules now.

He boxed before he fought in MMA, seeing the boxing fraternity talk about Ngannou is pretty funny tbh and shows how insular the sport is.All true, but from the Ngannou perspective, that was Ngannous boxing debut, he has never fought under those rules before and looked great, he has had 6 months to get better as a beginner and has also talked about his nervousness of the unknown in the Fury fight, he’s a lot more confident about going 10 rounds in boxing rules now.

Between the supposed best heavyweights doing exhibitions for the Saudis and Jake Paul's 'fights' it has exposed boxing as the side show it really is. I'd suggest fans of an actual genuine scrap should watch MMA.
AJ is the betting favourite with all big bookmakers mate.
