I fell asleep the moment that bloody concert came on but somehow managed to wake up for the fight, had a few dodgy moments again (my excuse is that we’d just come back from Amsterdam in the morning and it had been a long ass day and the Heineken and evening whisky snifters didn’t too much to keep me awake)Made the fatal mistake of lying down after the breidis fight and just woke up haha, will have to rewatch it now sounds like I’ve missed a cracker
It's ironic isn't it? After 20 odd years we've finally got an undisputed world champion and now the IBF is going to strip Usyk of the belt cos he's not going to meet their mandatory challenger in the next fight

Fell asleep in the fourth round. Have managed to avoid finding out who won (dreading scrolling through this thread). Any links to replays without spoilers?
I’d agree, you could see his nose was causing him big problems and it looked like it took his focus away from the fight. Was a excellent heavyweight contest. I know I am in the minority with my scoring but I do score round by round so the 9th is simply a 10-8 for me and doesn't cloud or take over previous rounds in the bank.
When Fury got his nose popped that seemed to change the flow of the fight.
No issue with the scoring or result mind. Was super close.
Tyson dancing whilst Usyk just stares and looks hard as ****ing nails.
usyk win this for me

He’s something else that lad. Like you say, he looked beaten and Fury was coasting to a pts victory but he found something from somewhere and Fury is lucky the ref didn’t stop the fight.Definitely. Was that round 7 or 8? I had Fury absolutely coasting rounds 2-7. Then the nose went which really effected him. Then the 9th and the 10-8. He recovered well like.
Usyk was quality too. He looked done in rounds 5-7. Made some fantastic adjustments and stepped on the gas.

Fury was actually quite smart by using the ropes to bend away from Usyk’s follow up punches. Had he connected with even one of them it might have been goodnight ViennaThought the ref made the right call. They can give a count if they feel the ropes are keeping a fighter up only. They were. Plus with undisputed on the line, the fighter needs every chance.

Agreed. Had to give the count. Can't let someone get creamed like that and not react. He'd have got hurt if it had carried on like that, Usyk just swinging in with free hits.
Thought the ref did well not to wave it off entirely, Fury looked that out of it.
Yeah right call for a fight of that magnitude. If he had been down then got up then that Usyk onslaught came, it would have been waved. But as per the rules, the ref did the right thing. Call a knock down due to the ropes.
Fury being such a horrid hard bastard probably hurt him overall. If he'd gone down after the big punch and had the breather he wouldn't have taken half the clattering.
Never seen a boxer consistently recover so well as he seems to.
