Hate Okolie. Made the right call to turn it off at round 2. Sugar hill made no difference and hearn was right to drop Okolie. Terrible fighter to watch and no the wonder half the arena left. Got up to watch the Benavidez Vs Plant fight. Topper that. Good start from Plant but Benavidez got that mexican terminator bloody. Ultimate domination from round 5 onwards. Be some right if they made Benavidez Vs Canelo in Mexico. Doubt it will get made like.
Mind you mate at my age it doesn't take much.!!! Have you heard if any truth in the rumours about Patterson to Leicester
Lots looking at Patto naturally. As usual, will come down to he Dosh. Our model now. If it was Iverson and 8m or so I would take it. I don't mind Patto but I would take that deal personally
I'd agree with this. Maybe try and stretch to 10. Keeper should in theory be the easiest position to replace and use the money to invest elsewhere.
Simon Jordan talking more sense on talkSPORT. Head of Saudi boxing on with them. SJ saying Saudi can outbid any country for boxing and "polluted the water" because of it. Gareth A Davies saying that apparently once the Saudi fight fell through with Fury, they tried to make the fight in the UK, but once Usyk had paid taxes and fees, the 10 million payment wasnt "worth it" for him as he was going to make daft money in Saudi. Everyone in the media, online etc was ready to turn on Fury, but little nuggets of info coming out that both had a hard in it.
Sorry mate, I respect you as a poster on here, but the sooner we rid ourselves of this complete and utter **** surrounding this so called sport, the better. No-one with half a brain cell accepts anything any of these people say. It's media hype, and media hype only. It's a money making bollocks machine for the media/so called promoters, to use physically strong lads to their own advantage. Nothing more. If you're so inclined, put your hard earned money down the nearest drain....at least that way they won't make from you.
I appreciate that. I'm not a boxing fan mate. I dip in now and again. I listen to talksport on the way to work and the last 3 days has been boxing dominated. Just the bits I've heard this week. The hypocrisy around the sport and money involved like most sport is mad. With it going to Saudi, its just another sport that the paying fan will be priced out of.I do know that Fury was the poster boy one week, then opinion changed and the back of the opposition fighters promoters word.
Anyone watching Joshua later? Just watching the undercard now. Ricky Hattons lad put the kid to bed in the first round and the second british fighter, Yafai, beat a Mexican in the second fight.
Looks a tidy boxer Hattons kid, good body shot, I would have liked to see him go for 4 or 5 rounds to see if he has the stamina. I can’t get on AJs side after his ill judged comments a few years ago but I don’t think it will be as easy as some people think, Franklin can punch and AJ may not find it easy
The little Mexican was going low down on the body shots in the second fight and our lad looked a good prospect. Not seen anything of Franklin but I don't particularly like AJ tbh.
There was always more than a whiff of Bruno about him. Fed easy opponents for far too long, learned nothing and floundered as soon as anyone near world class was put in front of him.
