Yep, would be almost unprecedented to have a 'loan' player with no parent club. For his sake I don't think he'd want to risk any major injury.
The way he's played to date, no chance of any major injury. He came with a big reputation but only seen glimpses so far.
I believe his contract finished the end of this month. I'm not sure what the story is with Bristol City and the loan whether they are still paying his wages, I assume we pay his wages until his contract expires and recoup whatever is agreed with Bristol.
There's going to be some very strange situations where loan players technically don't have a parent club. If I was them or their agent, I wouldn't just be negotiating a 9-game extension to their loan deals, I'd be looking to negotiate a 1 year deal.
CRISIS - Hull’s Championship survival hopes dealt major blow as FOUR players, including captain Eric Lichaj, can’t agree contract extensions https://talksport.com/football/efl/...cluding-eric-lichaj-cant-agree-new-contracts/ I think 'crisis' is overstating it a little.
