Jesus, that's young, isn't it? Gazza was already just about done by the time Bowen was born. Jive Bunny, Milli Vanilli and other musical greats were already distant memories.

George Michaels career was all but over.
Chazz was on the dole in 96. Spending his days in the bookies, happy days.
Tammy Abraham - 2 in 7 for Swansea.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin - Hasn't scored in 6 for Everton (though I thought he looked excellent on Saturday, despite Everton being crap).
Demarai Gray - Never scores for Leicester, though his England U21's record is pretty good.
Jack Harrison - He's scored 10 in 32 for New York City this season (called up to replace the injured Ojo).
Ademola Lookman - Hasn't even played in the league this season.
Dominic Solanke - Hasn't scored in three for Liverpool (though he's a very good player).
You could make a decent case for sticking Bowen in there ahead of Lookman or Harrison.
It's just that he looks a genuine prospect to me. I definitely agree he'll need resting, he won't like that and Slutski will get obvs get some **** when he does rest him. That's why Managers and players should stay well clear of social media.
But yeah, burn out could easily happen. We'll have to trust our management. Pennock will be best placed to advise the Slut I would have thought (I use the name 'Slut' in an affectionate manner).
I'm going to stick my neck out and say Jarrod will continue his current form until January and after that...
Yeah I would say there's an argument Bowen is doing at least as well as Harrison if not better, and certainly than Lookman.
Or StokeThey'll wait until he signs for West Brom in January.
Some Chelsea kid playing for Vitesse Arnhem, perhaps?Lookman over Bowen is questionable, but you've got to be fair to Harrison he deserves it on current form and it's not often I'd say this about the fa but hats off to them for looking further afield and taking the time to watch him in the MLS
Genuine question.....when was the last time we had a u21 player who didn't play in a league within the UK? I can't remember one unless I'm forgetting someone bloody obvious
Who thinks Bowen will carry on in this form? The lads on fire and for me that form doesn't look like ending anytime soon. Does anyone else think he might be a fairly big name in football?
It's early days for him and maybe for us to make predictions, but how far do we think he'll go?

Or Chaboloah when he was at napoli?Thanks![]()
Personally, I don't. He's in great form getting goals but he doesn't seem to have a massive impact on general play, as in you don't see him bossing games, tearing up defences and creating opportunity after opportunity. But if he can keep scoring goals then who knows, he certainly seems to know where the balls going to be and when.
Looks more like a Michael Owen get on the end of anything in the six yard box striker than a winger to me, I'd like to see him played up front in a 4-4-****ing-2, he might stand out in general a bit more then.
Really? I think there's been a number of games where he's carried the ball quite well in midfield and been the impetus for a number of attacks - either the Reading or QPR game being a good example, can't remember which. Bloody hoops.
His goal against Birmingham was a screamer from outside the box as well so I don't think he's simply a tap in merchant.
I thought it was a pretty fast shot.It wasnt a screamer from outside the box at all, it's was a tame shot that the keeper completly ****ed up and let in, 999 out of 1000 times it would have been saved
