Uncle Albert and Gray need to come on, and has Lyndon actually touched the ball this half ?
I like the way we try to play, but I've never liked 3-4-3(2-1) as it only has two centre mids. We are so open through midfield it's untrue.
This attacking formation works much better however with good wing backs and neither of ours are playing.
Kakay in particular isn't good enough imo and is really struggling tonight.
Their 4-3-3 is totally dominating all the spaces in our line up.
Bournemouth are a niggly lot as well as being good.
Shame Dickie dropped his clanger, but he often seems a candidate as good as he's been.

The nice thing about this team is I don't think it's over yet. Not sure I would have said that any other year in the last ten or so!
After the 1st 10 minutes we've looked harassed and clueless.
No creativity at all, constant back passes due to constant pressure and Dykes I think I've seen head the ball once.

Now, its very rarely this Qpr team does anything consistently over 90 minutes, so lets hope for a much improved 2nd half. Lets get Gray on, Dykes just doesnt look interested at all, his movement is very poor inside the area, not a patch on Austin but he can turn his game around by improving his work rate. How we miss Wallace really surprises me and kakay just isnt the best at all. Cmon Rangers lets pass forward rather than play back to Dieng. Thats Mclarens tactics!!!
I don’t think Kakay has been our worst player tonight, Col. I’m sitting here getting frustrated that every attack of ours seems to be about getting the ball wide and playing it high into the box when Dykes is AWOL and anybody else getting in there ain’t tall enough. Our best chances seem to be when Willock and Chair were combining and coming through the middle.
We need to do something different. Uncs and Gray on, come through the middle more or, if down the wings, then play the ball in low.
Stopping passing back to Dieng from the final third might help too.
That's got to be our worst half yet though, after the first 10 minutes anyway. Not sure their Keeper has had to make a save yet other than an early cross/ shot from Dykes. Stats show zero shots on target, 6 off target.
