Hope he is well school, feel a little more confident with Curtis in charge, but this is still going to be one tricky game and will take a point now, Jesus I sounded like Guidolin then.
The question is. Will Curtis' more attacking approach suit us better against the Cherries or would be better with Guido's more defensive selection? Either way I dont see us beating them. I would be happy with a draw but a loss wouldn't be the end of the world. Newcastle away at Leicester Norwich against Man City and Villa playing Spurs dont think there will be much change to the table come Monday night.
I would like to see us setup for the first 30 minutes the Franco way, defensive, simply because it takes us that long in games to get up to speed, then I think we should switch to the offensive game that gives us the width, second half should be all offensive with job done and shut up shop.....
3 defenders ......with only Barrow and Montero patrolling the outside . Give Taylor , Rangel/Naughton the day off . Paloschi and Fer have been on the pitch together for 13 minutes , I'd like that to change starting at Bournemouth .......with Siggy and Ayew , we will be a threat .
Well it's confirmed - "Francesco Guidolin: Swansea City boss to sit out Bournemouth game". Regarding Curts - Guidolin described the former Wales striker as a "perfect" person to have alongside him. "We see football the same way," Guidolin said. There's hope for Guids yet
Lawro tips us to lose ..... "Both of these teams have a bit of breathing space at the bottom after their results against sides below them last week - Bournemouth won at Newcastle and Swansea beat Norwich. Bournemouth always create a lot of chances and play with great energy at home, so I am backing them to win again this weekend. They still have a little bit more work to do but I do not think it will be long until the Cherries are celebrating being mathematically safe from relegation, which will be a great achievement. Swansea have had some outstanding results when they needed them the most, and I think they will also be absolutely fine in terms of staying up - the current bottom four is going to stay that way. Lawro's prediction: 2-0 "
Was going to say , your so full of it your eyes are brown ....( see ya'll when the ban is over ) .. Ok , I'm ready .
Looking at the other fixtures, I think we should go all out for the win. It looks almost like a free game as realistically Norwich, Villa and Newcastle should all lose. If we get another 3 points we could be out of sight of the bottom 3 after this match. If we lose - we probably won't have lost any ground anyway so why not just go and attack ?
I will be delighted with a point. Each point we get makes that hill between us and the bottom four that they have climb become a mountain! Interesting appointment by the Toon my view is that they will become harder to beat but not sure bif thery will get the desired wins especially in their next two games.
I will be delighted if I see something new , points are optional for this one for me. I don't care if it 3 CB's for defence..........2 strikers ...........6 midfielders ....... just something new and planned . Although I suspect we will have almost an unchanged side .
If we can play with intensity against Bournemouth, then I think we will get a result, we have to match them this weekend, if we do then we can go above Palace, who are not playing a league game this weekend due to the FA Cup, also they have some tough games against Leicester and Manu, I fully expect Palace to drop into the dogfight.......
2 strikers or 3 defenders or 6 midfielders .... Either or . Of them all , I would love to see 3 defenders totally committed to defence ... No overlapping just stop em . Really opens a door to new horizons with the other 7 .........not counting the keeper .
