An inch or 2 here and there and Jay would now be a hero - confidence is everything for the modern sportsman - let's hope he never reads the negative drivel on here!
**** off, the whole team is useless and should all be sold Puel is a clown and should be sacked and you are a twat and should get off this forum immediately (I decided to abuse myself to save others the bother)
so this week I have predicted us to lose 2-0 (BUT as I have been consistently the worst predictor for the last 4 years it just ain't gonna happen!)
So sarcasm is lost now? I personally think Long is fantastic and is a level above JRod. Long has to **** gold for some saints fans to actually think he's alright.
The problem with Sunday games is that everyone works themselves up to a crescendo, in preparation for a 15:00 kick off on Saturday (including me), then ... nothing for almost 24 hours. Sometimes you can't get the timing right. A bit like J-Rod. For what it's worth, I think we'll win 2-0. But then, I thought that leaving Europe would never be considered. (Ooh, politics and football - a heady mix)
If we draw 0-0, or lose this game tomorrow, I won't be expecting to read any expletives or petulant posts. It's clear from reading this that we are not a very good team, won't score again and have little to no hope of achieving anything other than the worst Premier League points total ever. The positive side of this (yes, I used that dirty word "positive") is that when the inevitable poor result happens tomorrow, it will be what everyone expects and therefore nobody will be having an "in match vent" because it will be just meeting expectations - people are prepared for that. I'll look forward to then reading some non-petulant posts discussing what we need to do moving forward Up the Saints. Ps. 1-3 Saints
Well, you'll definitely be correct at the start. As long as Bournemouth stay at 0, Saints can work on improving their goal difference, by taking it in turns to go 'Oh so close', until it's Fraser's turn. Then he'll remind Boruc what it's like to see a long clearance bounce over his head, and Saints will win 1-0. Probably
