This game is on the 2 year anniversary of when Saints played Inter in the San Siro.

A nice useless bit of trivia for the day

Be lucky to score that many in a season.

What a team that was though, easily our most talented team in living memory.

    Forster
    Clyne Toby Fonte Betrand
    Wanyama Morgan
    Tadic Davis Mane
    Pelle

I must've missed that. Was that Mark Lawrenson or Shane Warne? Probably Warnie.

Thought we finished 2nd that season or was that the next season?

That was a cracking team then. Saw Golacs score one of the best goals ever at The Dell, and Williams was fantastic for us rubbish at Arsenal and Luton though.

Yeah, the '82 team beat that one for talent because of Bally, Keegan and Channon.

Yep, used to go home and away in those days.

If that team had a weakness it was the defence, would've loved to have seen Shilts there instead of Katalinic, the CBs were knocking on a bit and Nicky Holmes was a better midfielder than LB.
