He did say I don’t like it when we, Bournemouth, do it. let’s just imagine if it was fatty burns commentating and we were in Bournemouth’s position getting beaten by a team near the bottom? oh the wheels have come off swanster Can’t see us making the plays offs never mind automatic now they’re bias good on em you can tell rh listeners aren’t used to that
Noticed Mcanns way of playing our wing backs against Blackburn did the job and the BBC report he made changes at half time , subtle ones that worked - shows he does more organising than some think .
Are you saying they don't want to cover Hull City ? Of course they do , probably 10 times as many listeners care about us than scunny and grimsby combined
Agreed. It's Radio Humberside, not Radio Hull City, which covers three teams and not just ours. Let's be sensible, fans of all three clubs call in and City get plenty of coverage given that they've not even been allowed to commentate for the last two seasons. If you want complete City commentary, shell out for the Tigers player audio commentary instead of bitching about fans of Scunthorpe and Grimsby ringing in to moan about their struggles. I mean, as a City fan, it's music to my ears listening to them going to pieces, don't know what the fuss is about.
Which is the point I was making but I think you missed it.... a one hour programme, one 3 minute interview with Imogen and a 4 minute interview with McCann... that was it,... and ST... FYI there were no callers.... just ****e from 2 managers for the balance of the programme.
That was absolutely magnificent. Soaked it up and rode our luck in the first half against a team packed full of Premier League talent. Then we bossed them for much of the second half and scored a tremendous goal. I’m ecstatic and shattered in equal measure, off out soon to eat my body weight in Canadian food. McCann was applauded off the pitch today. The fans know what a tremendous job he is doing, even if a few keyboard warriors on here refuse to see it.
I'll put my hand up and say I still don't like him AR but respect what he's getting out of this group.... but the new owner now has a big decision to make if he's already put things in place with a new manager.
What a win….what a week! Nothing better than frustrating an opponent in front of their own fans then pinching it near the end.Crazy to think after the listless performance against Stoke that we would then beat the 2nd and 3rd placed teams in the league without conceding, but the takeover effect has been very strong indeed. Swansea next week, with a couple of new signings maybe as well, could see the start of us accelerating away towards those mid table positions and end any relegation issues once and for all.
Don’t know what will happen with McCann now, normally new owners bring a new manger in, have they promised someone the job or will they think the players are playing for him and give it until the end of the season to make a decision.? Should know next week
