Frustrating to say the least!

 

Only Romeu and Redmond looked PL quality. Vestergaard and JWP off Bertrand and Ings on.

We just aren't a very good team. Beating Pompey and staying up would make this a decent season.

Cue better second half performance and praise for our half time management. Personally, am waiting for some decent pregame management.

No first half goals this year.

Only Fulham have failed to score at St Mary's.

 

Wide open at the back with no penetration at the front.
Romeu is doing ok though.

 

I totally accept Ralph knows more than I.

But playing a CB at RB, and our 2nd choice RB at LB, and our No. 1 LB and RB on the bench (not sure if Vallery is there) is confusing as ****.

Has he put JWP at rwb now and Danso in the middle?

See, this is where I might piss a few people off, but I think Ralph is bang average. He's not a bad manager, and he's certainly better than recent offerings but I think even Puel was better, because Ralph it seems, cannot sort out our defence.

Apart from rumours of a fall out, has anyone heard anything ref Bertrand?

Bigger problems at the club than this, but really, we’ve not looked great this season and this, sadly, was coming.

May well be able to turn it round 2nd half through Ralph’s game management, but this isn’t a shock. Sheff U could have had three or four against us with half decent finishing.

Nah. He’s a very good manager, but he’s being restricted by the clusterfuck of our ownership.

Bournemouth have been good, and the Rb situation is weird, but we've not played too badly! Chin up, Bournemouth are a good side, sometimes they'll get the breaks

 

Hojbjerg should hang his head in shame for not tracking the runner who provided the cross. He just let him run free from having been on his shoulder. Bloody disgrace

 

This. We’ve been pretty fluid going forward. Midfield been ok and winning balls. Defensively a mare. Maya was solid against the blades and Vestergaard just looks like a cart horse, sadly.

Bertie must start from now on and Maya.

It’s not really bad, just in one area. Defenders are quite important.

 

As I say, in attacking terms we’ve been quite fluid. Not worried on that front, but we’re not as good or safe as some have thought from the start of the season. That’s not on our (very good) manager either.

 

What game are you watching? We hesitate all over the place. Ball in the air? To you! to me! Get in front of goal? to you! To me!
