I was of the view that Norwich would join Fulham and Cardiff in The Championship next season, after last night however i'm increasingly thinking Sunderland could be the third team to drop.

Great shame that, what team next season will we do the double over, knock out the cup, score 6 goals against and concede none?

In all seriousness, which other football fans would continually blame a manager FOUR TENURES AGO for their current predicament? It's a really odd thing they've got. It's like us crediting Brown* with getting us to the FA Cup semis. Actually, TWF probably does that...

* Should probably be Dowie but then the TWF gag doesnt work.

If you think about it...
 
TWF - really you want to credit Phil Parkinson with us getting to FA Cup semi-final, as using the logic you probably use. If Parkinson hadn't appointed Brown to the coaching staff then when Parkinson was fired the board may have appointed someone else as manager, meaning Brown may never have got to manage us.

If Sunderland do go down then it will be some karma for their fans postings on this board and believing they are a "big club" (if they were they would have been able to attract better managers than Di Canio and Poyet)

That all works other than the fact Parkinson's didnt appoint him, Adam did behind Parky's back. Parky didnt want him here cos he knew Brown was after his job.

They will also have lost half of their present championship (at best) players due to the end of their respective contracts, they'll have a full debt-free bank book to replace them with enough quality to build a half decent lower half premiership team, and above all, a very good manager and coach in charge. Hull City however, may well have lost half their squad, will be saddled with debts, a new (cheaper) manager at the helm, and have owners intent on running the business in their own interests rather than those of club. Never mind CTWD will save the day with their plan for future financing!!!

i've just re-read the post. Just to confirm, i did not mention anything about support? and besides which, once a fan always a fan. Even as an ex-fan (see David Conn for full understanding of the term), and a follower of some 50 years - many of which as a passholder, i still periodically use my own pass to attend, but i choose my games based on the level of respective entertainment on offer. What is the point in enduring a game where one team enjoys nearly 70% of the game against your own team? I also choose my games based on the level of convenience within the context of the rest my life. Funnily enough, i use the same criteria for Ferriby games i attend.
