Could we get Longstaff back into the midfield and play Bruno, Tonali and Longstaff, and move Joelinton back into the front 3 with him Isak and Gordon. Barnes to replace Gordon in second half and drop Miggy for this one.
Joelinton, bruno and tonali are perfectly fine. As soon as Joelinton and tonali came out of the midfield we looked ****e.
@JakartaToon @Albert's Chip Shop Can we get this thread stickied? Also I see these highlights and I'm confident of a win on saturday -
We once had an argument about football, so he repeatedly called me a ***got, then told me to kill myself and then put my on ignore as I was worthless scum. Then he posted something about how he is a zen person trying to get by but the world holds him down
I'd go for a slightly changed formation - Barnes----------Isak----------Gordon ---Joelinton---Bruno---Tonali------ Hall/Targett--Burn---Schar-----Trippier ---------------------Pope------------------ If Botman injured he obviously comes back in I'd personally consider starting Gordon on the right this time and play Barnes. Almiron works hard and is a goal threat but doesn't create anything, and Isak is getting absolutely no service whatsoever.
Anyway I would be doing the following: 1. Replace Isak with Wilson 2. Make sure Barnes doesn't play any more than 10mins, and then only if we are 3-0 up. I had doubts about him but have now decided he is a spineless twat who has no concept of what is required of him in a left wing role with this team 3. Give Hall a go at left back. Brighton looked poor against West Ham last week - we should beat them.
So Botman and Joelinton both being assessed for Brighton match. Botman is a 'serious doubt' for this one, but neither have serious (i.e. longer term) injuries.
