Was speaking to a very affable Arsenal fan in the pub yesterday who was watching it as well, and he said we really dominated the first half and they were massively lucky to be level at HT, also he mentioned how awesome Tonali was. Second half they changed and got the win, but it was still just a narrow 1-0 for them.

Quite a few of our chances we could have taken better and obviously will do next time as we'll be working on that now. Some fairly touring saves for Raya, but the one where it was deflected and he had to stretch to get it was excellent. Pickford won't be as good.

All goes down to the wire now against Everton.

I think we will thump them.

Frustrating would be the word for yesterday.

But in that we probably could and should have had more despite having a RW at RB, a RB at LB, a LW on the RW and a third choice striker (why play Wilson - let osula free) and missing Trippier, Hall, Joelinton and Isak we can't be to upset.

All down to one game now, but it's still in our hands.

I'm just as disappointed with the continuing niggly injuries, to be honest. Trippier loves an Arsenal match, Hall's been a huge miss, Isak is irreplaceable and Barnes just can't play on the right. Wilson shouldn't be starting, full stop, and Gordon was dreadful. And as you say in spite of all that, we should've won 3-1.

Hopefully we were just making sure Isak was fully fit for this Sunday's game! Would it be worth wheeling Big Joe out as well? we lack so much energy and steel in the middle without him.

See I didn't think we missed it in last couple of games playing with different formation. The issue we've had last game was no striker and Gordon playing absolutely ****e

Certainly vs Chelsea we didn't and we looked like the better team for most of the first half and bits of the second half so your probably right, guess I just like watching Joelinton smashing the gooners.

I think the early goal against Chelsea helped and definitely would gave done so yesterday.

One of those games where it just wouldn't go in, thought we did pretty well, certainly 1st half, despite the spine of the team being pretty much missing

This shows more eloquently than I was able to type how I feel about the game:
