I wonder if it 's the work of the bearded fury or maybe some homegrown, red neck nutters have decided to take centre stage.

**** I cant even bring myself to look at that on the news anywhere. Appaling and disgusting. Just pigs and scum would do something like this to innocents.
 
The are plenty of people who hate Americans, even on this forum.

Has anyone said it is terrorism yet? I know it's a logical leap but it might be worth holding your horses. Of course it's likely to be deliberate but is a gas leak from the hotel inconceivable?

It was likely an attack - supposedly the police and military are remotely detonating a third explosive device that was found just after the explosions.



The US have already upped security in New York and Washington DC.

There was an explosion at the Boston JFK Library as well, further down the race route.

i believe they found a third explosive device that didn't go off although im not 100%
 
It was a state holiday as well - there will have been thousands more spectators than normal, especially at the finish line.

Cowards, wherever they are.

Pic was tweeted by journos without reference to the person on the roof, just about the explosion, so suggests it is genuine. Could be anyone though, janitor or anything. Does look sus like....

I'm staying away from Twitter now. Someone posted a link with photos of the disaster that show just how bad it is. They made me feel quite ill.

Some sources are saying 20 dead now. So sad.
