Picked him up when out of contract, so it's a no loss offload if someone else takes him on. Shame, he is a good player, but we don't have time for arseing around at the moment. We need players with more guts in their little fingers than he has in his entire alimentary canal. Including the colon.

Good on Harry. Certainly sounded strange when HR said that he didnt know when Bosingwa hurt his back - as a manager you would know.

But Bosingwa has been nothing short of a disgrace for the large part. Get rid.

Not sure what's bizarre about it.

Put it another way, could you imagine Winston Bogarde, perhaps the most (self confessed) mercenary of them all, walking out because he wasn't picked.

Never heard of him. Unless you're talking about the black guy from Ghostbusters?

A guy who doesn't try - doesn't even run back into position when our attacks break down - who's on 50-odd grand per week, gets dropped for his ineptness. But instead of listening to his Manager, realising the error of his ways and promising to work really hard and get himself back into the team - he storms out of the Ground and won't take his place on the bench.

All the while collecting his fifty G's every friday. Disgraceful. Utterly shameful and has every mark of big time Charlie, mercenary written all over it. I'm not sure why you would defend such a person who disrespects your Club like this Matt?

I'm with you Swordsie, maybe Bosingwa thought he'll get away with his sh.it without a fine. I think if he knew that he'll loose money he would stay. Or something like that

Refusing to take his place on the bench should be a firing offence.

You're not far off. He signed a contract to play. So when he doesn't want to fulfill his contract you can terminate it. In the business world it's called breach of contract.

    Pretty famous:-

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winston_Bogarde

My point is why would someone, that supposedly cares so little, storm out of the ground because they weren't picked? Why would they risk a fine if they're only interested in money?

I've also never declared that he isn't an idiot.

I have seen him "try" during games. Perhaps not every game but I reckon that complaint could be levelled at every player besides Mackie and Nelsen.

He might be one of those calm types that look good when the team are doing well but ineffective when they're not.

Also, I know that you're big on inconsistency, so I'll ask why there haven't been cries of sack Faurlin (who allegedly walked out a few games ago) or Taarabt for the bus stunt?

I did in fact call for Taarabt to be sold or otherwise gotten rid of after that stunt. And to this day I'm still not convinced he's repaid the Club's leniency toward him but hopefully he will in the months to come.

I'm fairly certain I attacked Faurlin too so I'm off to find that thread! I'll bump it if I can find it!

He rings a bell now as a Chelsea player all right. But very vaguely.
