I got no gripe with Welbeck tonite , he was feeding on a whole lot of nothing .

Besides which , he has to miss about another 400 chances to be level with Giroud.

    Hes got ages yet .

Welbeck needs a goal. But you're right, he works hard and creates the spaces for himself.

If it was a one off then maybe it would be an overreaction...

Yes, Flamini hasn't been that good, but he's been better than Arteta.

Funnily enough that's the same exact performance Giroud would get crucified on here for. Welbeck was decent. Once he gets off the mark he'll be deadly.

Not really, Leicester could have scored 10 against us with a half decent striker

It's like what Merson said we have 4 or 5 games like that a season and for a so called top side that's just not acceptable.

You needed a last minute PK to beat Ludogrets at home. You have zero room to mock anyone.

But it's not one bad night... Its happened season after season after season. At what point does sticking with a manager to show admirable stability and faith turn into blind stubbornness and stifling of progress? AW hit the glass ceiling many seasons ago. We need fresh management before our best players leave again

Aaron Ramsey has just come out and apologised for the performance tonight.

I don't care. It's not his fault so a meaningless apology.

He was as culpable as the rest, other than Wilshere. So the apology isn't meaningless.

Please do not mistake me for a scouser, I hate those ****s. I'm just glad we got 16 million for Welbeck, a great piece of business by us <laugh>

The equivalent would be my students apologising for not passing their exams after I didn't bother to teach them for two years.

You're trying to over simplify it. The players on the pitch tonight were as culpable as the manager and the tactics. Ramsey's apology at least shows that he cares and knows we need to do better. It might not mean anything to you, but that doesn't make any difference to be honest. I'm glad he's come out and said that.

The apology that matters would be to put in some effort at Villa
