Better to rest Boruc for one game than lose him for several weeks, especially when that is a game we will probably lose anyway (ducks behind sandbags). Glad Poland didn't risk making it worse by playing him. Here's hoping anyway.
I read an article just now which informed me that it has been seven hours and fifty two minutes since Boruc conceded a league goal.

Is it possible that Artur is a robot and they managed to cross thread his leg during reassembly?
In his press conference, Maurico says that he has no idea where this injury rumour has come from as Boruc is fine. Perhaps, partly, from Artur posting a photo of his leg getting treatment

Sorry to have come to the conversation late, but I actually went to work a few hours yesterday, so missed everything. Saw the press conference an hour ago, and am I mistaken that I heard Poch referring to Boruc's report of injury as an untruth.?
That would vindicate Boruc when he said he wasn't injured.
Players are hard-wired now to do whatever medical teams tell them to do. I suspect the Polish medical team told him to wear it, Boruc probably didn't see the need, posted the pic tongue in cheek. When Saints staff checked him out the following morning, they couldn't detect any issue.
