Tell you what though, say what you like about Boris but his final leaving party is going to be one hell of a shindig if his other non-parity parties are anything to go by!!

I personally thought he was the right person at the right time to unstick a befuddled, standstill of a mess but unfortunately his continued gung ho, to he'll with the rules approach whilst not wanting to take any responsibility just wasn't sustainable.

Need a level headed, sensible but determined approach now...

Until he's out on his ar$e I wont believe he's going.

I don't recall resigning.
There was no resignation.
I was repeatedly assured I didn't resign. I'm outraged.
It was someone else who resigned.
I was ambushed by resignation letter.
Etc, etc, etc.

It is alleged that the reason he's delaying leaving is because he's planned a belated wedding party for him and Carrie at Chequers.:steam:

Boris the unseasoned cabbage and his band of sycophants need to be booted from office, **** his faux resignation, get the bottom feeding parasite out now. How? I have no idea, but him and his ilk need eradicating from the political scene.
Don't sugar coat it Taff! <laugh>
Have to agree with you though. And the "befuddled standstill" mentioned by Brizzle was probably engineered to get him the job.
Not a good PM I'm afraid and although Dai made a brilliant joke about it, I honestly believe that he sees his resignation as another hiccup that he can overcome on his relentless journey to "greatness"

They’re all lightweight and unimpressive - in fact like all politicians these days from whatever side of the floor.
I honestly believe that there are good, caring and innovative MPs around the chamber. The problem though is that they are ignored for advancement or they prefer to stay on the backbenches where they can work for their beliefs. Those that do come through are vulnerable to the power corrupts syndrome. The problem we have at the moment is popularism and a lack of state craft. As a result, you end up with a government elected on a single issue and with no expertise in governing.
I have no idea if my own political preference because I struggle to differentiate between the policies.
Too many entrenched opinions. Check out the Bristol City pages for an example
