I know mate It`s just that after all the messing about we`ve had, I`m just enjoying thinking about it panning out that way. <devil>

Yeh, that would be cool wouldn't it!

He could end up playing with Arca for the Willa Pond tomorrow (another thread) :emoticon-0102-bigsm

for me the club should have been using the 5 weeks since the offer was accepted to line something else up. dont get me wrong i love borini and would love to have him as a permanant member of the squad but if him and his agent are too daft to accept that he isnt wanted there and he has the chance to come and play for our club then **** them its their loss. i would have thought that his agent would be pushing him to move so he gets his 20%

Borini knows he is not wanted at Liverpool.

He has stated that he would be prepared to come to sunderland but only as a last resort, the most likely destination for him and the one he is wants is a club in London.

Don't be surprised if he ends up at west ham

Where have you seen all of this that none of us have?

It's been stated almost everywhere he either wants to stay at Liverpool, go back to Italy or as a last resort come to us.

London's been mentioned nowhere.

Haven't seen it, just heard it.

Hopefully he ends up back with us, he is a quality player but you have to question his commitment. Wherever he ends up, I wish him the best of luck.

He was good for us and we were good for him.

I don't see it myself, think it's either on the Liverpool bench or back to Italy.

I hold no warm feeling to him the way he's ****ed us around having had a bid accepted, even a rejection would have been kinder and more respectful.
He's used us as a card for negotiating.

Aye, if he changes his mind and does sign for us, he is going to have to score a lot of goals and play well so a lot of people will forgive him, some probably never will and I think they have a good right.

The saga has gone on too long now, we should have moved on a long time ago.

100% this ^^

Got to be honest i would rather have Welbeck. I think he would be brilliant for us. Welbeck, Wickham, AJ, Rodwell, Catts, Brown a real English spine to the side.

Until I know the facts, I'll leave the pitch fork in the shed and keep an open mind. Kangaroo court is the court of simpletons. Jeremy Kyle fodder. To turn on someone off the back of hear say is comes across a bit thick tbh. I have to wonder if some of you have teeth.

Can any of you spot yourself on here?

Not saying you're wrong(those of you hanging him out to dry), you maybe right. But you don't know for sure, you're just guessing, yet you think he should be the one looking for forgiveness. ****ing hell. <doh>

I'd **** us off if I were him, he's already the new scapegoat who apparently owes a debt already. Like bunch of Baz's. Find a bit of class lads.

Sunderland manager Gus Poyet has warned Fabio Borini that it is “now or never” for the Liverpool striker to finally complete his proposed Black Cats switch.

Poyet earmarked the 23-year-old Italian as his primary target this summer, having enjoyed a hugely successful season on loan at the Stadium of Light last term.

The Wearside outfit were thought to have had agreed a £14million deal for the forward early in the transfer window, though reports later emerged that Borini was eager to stay and fight for his place at Anfield.

Poyet previously told talkSPORT he is still determined to complete the capture of the young striker regardless of the rumours, though the Uruguayan has now admitted he he may have to give up his pursuit and switch attention elsewhere as the transfer window draws to a close

Asked if the club would set a deadline, he said: "I have asked myself many, many times. I don't know, to be honest, I don't know if we need to put a date on it or not. I don't know.

"It's a daily thing. If something incredible comes in and we need to make a decision then, a player that we cannot say no to, then I am sure there will be a few phone calls saying 'now or never' both ways.

"But at the moment, we haven't found that player, but we will see."

Poyet revealed Sunderland did come close to having to make that decision recently, though he revealed the Black Cats eventually missed out on a deal for Chile forward Eduardo Vargas, who instead opted to join promoted QPR on loan.

He added: "We were very close to getting Vargas. It was a matter of decisions between everybody - clubs and cities, living and possibilities and things, and in the end, everything didn't come through for us to get the player.

"That was close to us making a decision on whether Fabio was coming or not coming. It's daily. We haven't put a date on it, but it's daily and we are looking for options."

Sorry mate I'm not sure who you're addressing but I'm basing my opinion on two facts. The fact that we had a bid accepted weeks ago and the fact that in all of this time he's neither accepted or rejected our offer.

It has absolutely nothing to do with class mate, it's speculating on a forum. Not doing so isn't classier, just a different use of the forum.
