For those getting teed off about this, one reason may well be that he wishes to return to London. Irrespective of how much a club offers, if a player doesn't fancy living in the North East, he won't go. Borini had three and a half years in London with CFC. The pull of a big city may well be what swings this deal.
I very much doubt that QPR will be offering much more, if any, in wages than your bosses.

I think the size of this thread say's why we're tee'd off. QpR and london has been going on an hour, This saga is two months in the making

Just said on SSN that we took away the 14 mill bid in hope to get a loan deal but now have Coates so can't loan him and that the deal is pretty much off.
Also said poyet left the training ground 20 mins ago!

<yikes>

I'm getting so sick of football with wives and players picking where to live and Sky talking about 100s of millions on transfers like it's a good thing. And the sad thing is i don't know how it can be stopped or slowed down. Is FFP the answer??

Exactly mate. Football is my favourite sport but but it seems to be turning into some type of celebrity style greedfest more & more with each passing season. ****, Richy Pitt was my P.E teacher at school so it goes to show you how much they earned then compared to now that the bloke had to take on a regular job after retiring from the game.

That's what I said. And that the money went on Rodwell and Ellis has ****ed us on the budget. ****ing hope not. The outrage!

QPR fan in peace....

Sorry not read the whole 84 pages of this thread... the press today has us linked with Borini - see that he won your young player of the year - but he only scored 1 in 4 appearances...what is all the hype? Does he work hard off the ball / pace? Would you have him back? Why did you not buy him if he all that and a bag of chips? Worth £10M?

Calm down Funk. There's hours to go yet, oh, err......

I'm calm fella, just exploring one of the unlimited possibilities. The only thing concrete we've got is that we once bid 14m, and Tony. Open minded but will be well pissed of if we don't get an explanation once the window closes.

Not reading much into Gus going home. Training will be finished and he's not needed for transfers. If Congerton and Maggie f** off then it's panic stations. kind of need the DoF and the club Brief there for transfers to take place.

About time this thread was shut, the mercenary bastard, qpr, arghhhh. Been worried in this window as I have repeatedly chipped in, now hours to go and still woefully short, getting right fed up of this football lark, we just getting left further and further behind big and London clubs.
