I have just checked her twitter again and she's barely said anything about us. She was asked questions about Borini potentially moving to us on the 30th and 31st of July which she answered politely without really giving anything away. Apart from that she's put nothing out of the ordinary on that people in general wouldn't do.

Have I missed something?

She's deleted every single tweet mate!!! She's clearly got into bother with someone.

Ah right <ok>

I don't do facebook, twitter etc. I've just been logging into her twitter account through searching on google and checking what it says. I've only checked her account about 3 or 4 times over the last 6 weeks so would have missed it all.

My money is him being a Sunderland player by the end of the window, in fact where is that log in I have got to the bookies.

My money is everyone is reading too much into this but in reality nothing has happened and I think he hasn't got a back to the club which means he's made his mind up. I really think he's said no and wants to stay at liverpool. I'd be dissapointed if the club waited until the end of the transfer window to sign him because he's not that good of a player it's not like he's messi. I'd rather us sign someone that wouldn't mess us around and we could get someone in before the season starts. Plus did t poyet say we'd find out in two or three days about fabio and that was three days ago so it looks like he's met his deadline.

Just found this past article on the Borini situation in the Sunderland Echo:

It is approaching a fortnight since Sunderland had a £14million bid accepted by Liverpool for former loanee Borini, who returned early to the UK from Liverpool’s pre-season tour of America at the weekend for treatment on a shoulder problem. Gus Poyet watched his words carefully when asked about Borini here in Portugal last night.
But the Sunderland boss confirmed that the club have now held discussions with Borini himself and indicated that the Black Cats are still hopeful of signing the 23-year-old. Poyet said: “He is being assessed now for his shoulder injury. That’s stopped everything a little bit.

This was followed up after our last game in Portugal: -

The Sunderland boss was coy when asked whether one of those arrivals would be main target Fabio Borini, simply replying: “You’ll know in two or three days.”

Now by my calculations, 3 days from Saturday is today. So why are we still being kept in the dark. I know this has probably being mentioned already.

Borini never had a Sniff at the Italian National Team, Giachh did before we messed him about. £14 Million could be spent elsewhere, we have an Italian International who wants to be here. Fu*k Borini !

How have we messed Giacc about? He needed time to adapt and we gave him it. We've handled him well imo.

Could and should have had more game time. Jozy struggled when Borini (the forward ) could have gone up top and Giachh in where he played for Juve and Italy, don't yu think ?

It's different though, Jozy can cope with all the physicality, Giacc was getting bounced all over the shop at times, he physically couldn't cope and needed time and gradual introduction. His input was invaluable, If we chucked him into the deep end he would have drowned. Instead 5 goals and 5 assists is not to be sniffed at in a début premier league season so that in itself shows we've done something right with him. He'll get much more playing time this season.

Hope so Funk, he battled his way up in Italy and can do it here. Could have a diamond with him this season. Still think Borini is over priced within our budget when we need to strengthen elsewhere. No one else wants him, he has hung on long enough .

I'm a huge Giacc fan mate and want to see more too.

Its the speed as well as the physicality. Which is why ideally we won't have seen the best of either yet.

Could easily be player of the season, he's got the lot imho

He doesn't want to be here. I hope safc move on and I genuinely thank him for last season and wish him well.

I don't think he's quite good enough for a top 4 side, but has potential and would be nice to see him fulfill it, wether that be at us or Liverpool.
