none of the kids are ready... not one. borini was poor so no loss IMO. borken foot? give him time to go think baout it...... finally suarez is one match from suspension and whomever is ref next weekend after these crap internationals will be falling over himself to book suarez.

Stand by for no strikers at all....

What do you mean one match from suspension? he has three yellow cards not four.

Rubber stamping the deal out before the deal in had been rubber stamped was poor management.
He admitted as much at the time.

This **** just gets funnier and funnier.
Why did he let Carroll go without having the replacement through the door? Poor, poor management

Don't understand why you aren't just thankful to Rodgers for bringing your little club away from the league 2 club you are. Respect the man.

We were in the Championship and had missed out on the playoffs by a whisker the 2 previous seasons ignoramus.

He got us up via the playoffs first time of asking (not by getting us to play 'Brendan's way', but because of his contacts at Chelsea which secured us 2 players who could finish better...Sinclair and Borini) and for that I respected him.

Then he left stating that he'd "always be a Jack" and wouldn't come back for our players within 12 months. Still respected him.
Then he broke his word, and was underhand in the way he went about it.
Now he can go **** himself.

Just amused that he's not quite as clever as he thought he was is all :)

Could be a silver lining, Yesil will most likely get some bench warming action with the prospect of a bit of game time. Really excited about this guy, he looks great on the limited times I've seen him and I hear he's rated highly by the coaching staff.

Not too fussed really. Let's be grateful that it wasn't Suarez who broke the bone!

If Suarez continues to play as CF then hopefully we'll see Pacheco, Assaidi on the left wing. Or BR moves Suarez to the wing, then Yesil or Morgan will get more opportunities.

See we've been linked with a Turkish striker Burak Yilmaz, who currently plays for Galatasaray.

He's 6'2", 27-years-old, and has a decent strike rate statistic.

Any thoughts, gents?

Would have thought if this was true we would be asking Sahin about him as well.

Yep, get the inside scoop from our Turkish connection. Think BR would have asked about him with Sahin in the squad, if this rumour is true. The kid looks like he can score, anyway. And it gives us a little more experience --age-wise, at least! --in the front line to accompany Suarez.

Word on the street is that Arda Turan is jealous of Sahin with his Liverpool stuff. It is known that Turan is an admirer of LFC and lieks the club a lot, even issued a come and get me plea but we didn't move in and he went to Athletico and ahs helped transform ( Along with Falcao, Garcia, Reyes, and Adrian) a seriously formidable attack.

Here is that picture and story....

Arda Turan was pictured wearing Nuri Şahin's Liverpool FC shirt on social media network Twitter.

Şahin Tweeted an image of Arda wearing his Liverpool shirt with the caption, "Adam" besides it, translating to a man's man.

Arda is a self confessed Liverpool FC supporter, prior to his move to Atletico Madrid the Turkish international midfielder said, "I want to play in major leagues and my dream team is Liverpool.

"As I always mention, Liverpool attracts me because of their tradition.

"In Europe, I am a Liverpool supporter, so if I go to play in Europe, I would like to play for them."

The 25-year-old midfielder was signed by the Rojiblancos in 2011 for €12 million making him the most expensive Turkish football transfer.

Arda was part of the Europa League and Super Cup winning Atleti side in 2011-12. The Atleti playmaker has two goals and one assist in seven games for the La Liga outfit this season.

The Atleti star has a €24 million release clause and will start today for Turkey in their World Cup 2014 Group D qualification match against Romania.

A class player who would jump at the chance to come to us, need to take advantage of these types of players who still love our past and want to be part of the present and future.

Yeah, I agree he'd be a good purchase, but he did mention being in Europe. Which, I suppose, technically, we are with the UEFA but suppose he meant Champions league. Good if we could get him, though.

If he's a hard working runner he should be in the Olympics . At the start of the season I said I wouldn't have him in the Swans side but the Scousers wouldnt listen .He is a Championship player.

On the last bit mate, see it from a players perspective.

The boss knows me and values me as a player, he's now off to Liverpool, wonder if I could go there.
Not a massive leap to suggest this type of scenario, especially for Allen.
