Borini- yes another thread

He got stuck in last time Raw and that was when he was on loan so if he's on a 4 year deal i can't see him being any differant. I honestly don't get why so many are against him. People whinge when we dont spend money and say they fed up with loan deals. Now we are getting a proven player at a good age with sell on value and MAYBE paying £1m over the odds. I still think Fletcher to Celtic and Graham to Boro on loan could happen. Shame it looks like Buckley and Bridcutt aren't seemingly leaving this window..

Excluding penalties I believe he only scored 2 in open play, which one was the most important, I forget.
 
I think Borini is a good signing. If he can get 7 plus goals as last time then that's great. He had a good understanding with Johnson. He can play football. However he has barely played since he left us. Some fullbacks and a proper striker who can play in Dick's system please.

Oh and clear the decks of the bang average if possible. I will run naked down my street if we manage to offload Fletcher.
 
I don't think it means the end for either of them tbh. I can see why you would think that but they will both be here in 2 days time i reckon..
 
Because he is the same type of player as those two, Watmore is at the end of his contract this year, how many games will he get, what will he do, he will be off, very much in the manner of Colback and who could blame him, he will be twice the player we are going to waste 10m on. This is the worst deal ever imo.
 
I don't really get the hatred for Borini. He thought he had a shot at a CL club so he stayed and tried to fight for his place. That's to be admired imo. We don't know what happened but I've never seen any concrete evidence that he "****ed us about" last year. We were determined to make the deal happen and chased him for a whole summer when he'd made it clear he wanted to give it a go at Liverpool - that's our problem not his.

Let me put it this way, if Hendo got pushed out the Liverpool first team and decided he wanted to come back, would you all have him, or would you be saying "Nah **** him he chose Liverpool over us"? What's different about Fabio?

Odd signing for me. That Watmore looks like he could be a talent and this could stunt it. Goal scoring doesn't seem to be your issue anyway! Your issues are from Clatts and the defence.

Henderson would be welcomed back anytime, I am not in any way opposed to ambition from any angle, I just dont think we need this guy at this price and it has to be he most contentious signing ever by SAFC in my 60 years supporting this load of s***e. Yes I am annoyed. :emoticon-0148-yes: but I will get over it.

I see where ya comin from Wij but it's a connundrum Advocaat has to sort out cos somewhere in there is a very decent team!

Maybe DA is trying to go down the Keegan route. **** it. If they score 3 we.ll get 4. Makes for great entertainment.
