look, i'll be honest the guy started off making some intelligent enough runs and found space but he just was awful in front of goal and has zero of this power that rodgers attributed to him.

For me i don't mind one bit he's out cos frankyl we are headed for one game per week from here on in and can just concentrate on the suarez/suttidge partnership and bedding in coutinho.

I think borini is a flop end of... just misses too much and we need a guy like hernandez or say inzahgi who used to come on and just score. we need someone who just knows where the net is.

    Rodgers signings
    Borini flop
    allen flop
    Assaidi flop
    Sahin total flop
    Yesil - a kid
    sturridge hit
    coutinho?

in the end we'd brought in 7 players under dalglish the previous summer and added another 4 thats a whole team!!!

all of rodgers summer signings flopped which is why we ended up where we are. that and he has not organised the defense well... theres over 30mil on players who bench warm before 20mil again in january. thats a hell of a lot of omeny even if we did do business i nthe other direction too.

anyway... if we see sturridge continue to improve his sharpness and stay fit and countiho build on this little start we can maybe bring in one or two next summe rto make his record 50/50 which would be the norm for most managers.

lets all hope dearly for better quality signings cos FSG did point out clealry the transfers had to be right cos it'd never by city or chelsea silly spending.

I think Borini should/will be gone in the summer, I do have sympathy for him and this is perhaps harsh, as he's obviously had bad luck with these injuries that have prevented him settling, but the fact that he keeps getting injured should be a warning sign that maybe he's one of those fragile players and not cut out for the demands of the Prem.

Agree with MITO, for all his movement and awareness I am yet to see one effort on target from him, if we want to push on next season to a level up we need players who are ready to do what is needed now, so if he stays then I don't think he should be anywhere near starting.

Borini and Assaidi can't be put in the draw marked 'flop' - I don't think we've seen anywhere near enough of either player to make that call?

If Borini was constantly picking up hamstring injuries I would be concerned but a broken foot and then a dislocated shoulder is just bad luck. His movement is great - maybe he just needs a decent run?

Liverpool say Fabio Borini will miss the rest of the season. Just like Torres.

Fiorentina Sporting Director Daniele Prade confirmed "We like Fabio Borini, but it's hard to see that LFC will let him go."

I got both legs cut off by a stray shuriken during a game once and kept playing.

Only stopped when the ref gave me a red card for repeated hand-balls.

Hypothetical question lads (playing Devil's Advocate) - would you sell Borini in the summer if we received an offer of around £8-9m from Fiorentina? ...
