i think swansea need to think hard on it.... they can't have that much cash but getting shelvey on loan for a year might be a bargain. I am half thinking that i want to see him in preseason and perhaps he's better than allen now. if allen walks for only a compensation due to being<24 then they are foolish... equally i think given lfc's record rejecting offer one is reasonable... lfc kept coming back in last year upping offers. as an lfc fan i'd almost say i'd rather us tell the players agent we'll be round next january for a precontract if he's up for it (but not tap up fully) and tel lswansea take it or leave it.... this is all baout rodgers trusting and knowing the guy rather than i think him being the very best we could get. i guess we need to wait and see... i just hope we don't see i n2 weeks time this completed for 15mil and shelvey as it'd say we're a soft touch and then newkie will offer 10p and a slab of newkie brown for carroll and we'd take it on 30th august with no time to replace...
