Just followed the link in this thread and read their comments. What popped into my head was, I wonder what the reaction would be if someone pointed out they can mathematically be relegated Before any Lester fan points it out, I know we can too.
I suspect thats not true, the gap between us and the relegation zone is within reach, but for either of us to get relegated it would require every team between us to overtake us, and considering most those games will be against each other, I doubt it's possible.
I can't be arsed to work it out, but I doubt that's true. If we lost all our remaining games and everyone below us drew(or won one/lst one), I still don't think mathematically possible.
I totally agree with this, Adkins would definitely hit the ground running, he'd probably be too late for an auto spot but I feel that he'd definitely get them up as play off winners. I think they should keep NearlyNormalNigel and leave InspirationalScouseFuckerNigel until we have our future sorted
I wouldn't bother posting it on there, not with a City ((Hull) related user name anyway, the mods are ****ing pathetic on there and will ban you immediately
It isn't possible for us to be relegated. We have 65 points, if Bristol City, Peterborough and Barnsley win all of their remaining games, they'll finish above us, but the teams they play (for the most part are already below us) won't pick up points for losing those games. So we can't be relegated. Besides, the most anybody has ever been relegated from the Championship with is 52 and that award belongs to Leicester City.
I remember when City got relegated once, the table looked like they could draw level with two clubs above us. The national press said we weren't mathematically certain to go down but all City fans knew we were because the two clubs still had to play each other and therefore one of them would get the point that ensured our relegation.
Well John it happened. The Wendies (with steve bruce at the game) WON @ Lesta saturday.......happy days. As for TWS it was a nice result for us also. TWS had a stonewall penalty not given when the score was 0-0 according to SSN reporter. GREAT WEEKEND RESULTS WISE FOR THE TIGERS LIKE. Whats the difference between Nigel Pearson and a jar of Horlicks. ?? Nothing,, but They both send you off to sleep.
Was he actually at their game though? We've played both teams twice so it doesn't make sense when there are upcoming opponents to be watching. Don't tell me, you've seen a picture of him laughing with Dave Jones?
Yes on twitter. Assumtion being that SB was at the game looking at players. I would think that SB knows all he needs to know about the likes of Forest, Udders, Watford already.
This one? please log in to view this image EDIT: I was going to wait for another reply, but I think most people can tell I already know that picture is going round on twitter and that it's not from this weekend. I saw it the other night and thought it was odd that Bruce was stood with the manager of one of the two teams playing in the game at Leicester. Google "Steve bruce dave jones" (which I did to find out where the story had come from) and the top entry is this article from November: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...inded-fans-want-rid-abuse-beautiful-game.html It was taken when they were watching Sheff U vs Portsmouth earlier this season.
