Teo internationals, can only add quality to the side ! :)

Hopefully pick them up...just have to look at the starting line up to see we need a few players if promotion is the aim.

Zola will like playing the youngsters as they have pace and could be quite skillful like Whichelow.

This was quite fun. Felt like Frank Smith doing copy and paste.

Much harder following Jon Marks and putting what he says into words on the match thread.

Apart from Bond, how many players in that starting lineup will be feeling comfortable about their Watford futures?

Not many according to somebody on GH..they suggested 24 players could leave!!!!!!!

Somehow think that is somewhat over stating it but there will be changes.

I used to look forward to the first pre-season friendly in the days when there was three months between seasons, but I cannot remember when there was one with real purpose. They were always disappointing, and from the reports this one was no better.

Result doesn't matter, this Borehamwood side held a strong West Ham team. Great to see the two trialists stand out, hopefully a couple of the youngsters coming out of the academy can make a real impression on Zola in pre-season. I'm looking at the likes of Mingoia, Wichelow and one of our two young goalkeepers.

Typical pre-season friendly, we huffed and puffed in the first half and their BIG #10 has a handful. But we started playing it around in the second half and Taylor had him in his pocket and he was subbed. Still a pleasant evening - it's Steak Club night in Spoons, so had a nice Rib Eye and salad before the game.
