Make it all legal, regulate it, tax it and clean it up. People seem to actually do less drugs when they're legal, for some unknown reason. Portugal and Holland have experimented with these laws and it hasn't ****ed them up, so why not?
I don't understand how I'm being a hypocrite. Alcohol is a problem that is linked to crime and other stuff that I've mentioned. It's not just one or two people it affects badly either, you go to any town centre in the UK on a weekend and you will see fighting. You don't get that with cannabis. It's not linked to bad health or crime. There's now research showing that cannabis is actually an exit drug and has been used to get people off heavier drugs.
It's does work. Once you set up centres to let them come nd take their fix, the gangs move onto somewhere else. In a centre, counsellors are in constant contact with addicts, they can build rapport and show them other people out there who can help them. Research shows this approach works and I'm all for it. No dirty needles lying about in our kids parks either.
What? If you say cultivating or selling it, then flick a switch make it legal and that problem goes away.
well originally i think it was supposed to be because she wanted everyone to be able to own a home. The other thing was i think it might have been people might treat the property better than **** it up if potentially they might own it. Anyway, people are now exploiting it, especially when there is no more land to build in London and they aren't building social housing. A good idea originally thats turned bad, it's time to scrap it
That's the other obvious benefit. Organised crime loses a massive source of income, while the taxman gains one. It won't happen though, as too many people would lose their **** at the suggestion. Weed will come first and I think it'll happen fairly soon, but anything else will take decades, I think.
Nope. Standard Tory small government move. Sell off the housing and don't replace it, as they know it'll all end up in the hands of their rich mates eventually. The NHS and policing are going the same way now. They'll flog anything and everything, if they think that they can get away with it.
It wont stop people still selling weed, but them people would have to drive down their prices massively. You'd be talking about 100 an ounce, it'd currently double that at the moment. Criminals won't get rich so won't bother. That's how it works in the Netherlands
