I can't say that boots reflect anybody's personality. Personally, I love white boots. They're usually more light weight and allow me to utilise my pace more. However, they have no protection nowadays. More players are being paid to wear these boots by the manufacturers as a style of advertisement and some such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Obefemi Martins wear the more lightweight ones for the same reason as myself.
I think it's just typical evolution of the modern game which we're all going to have to get to used to I'm afraid.

Yep 35 year olds in the Sunday League are known for their blistering pace!! Just before they chuck up last nights ale.

I'll have you know I am rather fast. Obviously not as fast as I was in my 20's but I can still beat most people to the ball. I don't drink before a game either. Never a wise thing to do for that reason exactly.

I've always thought Predators are ****e. Had a pair once, hated em.

The last boots I had were Umbro Speciali. Very comfy, like Puma King. Plus I got them from a mate at Umbro, so paid £20 instead of £80 for them

My record was about four pints just before kick-off , so I can 't agree with you on that one.

As an adult I always wore Nike Tiempo but always plain black with a White tick.

As a kid I had some proper ****house boots.
The worst ones were rubber, like wellies but football boots, I kid you not.

If memory serves me right they were sponsored by Stan Bowles and had his autograph on the side of each boot. Thing was this was 1984 and no ****er my age had ever heard of him.

I recall playing Dulverton School and getting laughed at, my own team mates were pointing and laughing at my **** boots.

What a set of ****s.
