What are you all reading in these time-rich times? I bought eight books from HMV just before Christmas, for £3 each, and I'm enjoying working my way through them. Books include Cod, by Mark Kurlansky, Brave New World (Aldous Huxley), and Down and Out in Paris and London (George Orwell). Next up is For Whom the Bell Tolls (Ernest Hemingway). What ya reading folks?

This is a cracking read.
Shines a spotlight on a lot of the bellends in the UK right now.
The Bighead by Edward Lee, which is supposed to be the sickest book ever written. Just finished it 5 minutes ago actually, not the most extreme thing I've ever read, but pretty gross all the same.

Some good-looking recommendations there chaps. Just out of interest, what do you lot prefer, physical books or tablet etc? I like to feel a book in my hands, preferably with a good cover (a bit like an album cover).
It has to be a physical book for me. I tried reading tablets but it just isn't the same experience.
Currently reading this. Absolutely superb. I recommend 'The Right Stuff' by Tom Wolfe also. About the Mercury 7 astronauts.

He's a top bloke and basically for my drive to and from work (260 miles) he got me through Brexit and decoded the bullshit etc.
He's a Tory but a very balanced one who listens well too all sides of the argument.

Same for me. Reading tablets usually only takes a second or two. Paracetamol. Disprin. Reading a book takes much much longer unless you read all the tablets in the bottle but then that becomes slightly monotonous.
I have a kindle. Have loads of books on it but I cannot read them. I have to have a physical book.

you have to turn the kindle on mate. The light helps you then read them.
In their defence you are pretty old mate. Not sure of your exact age, but if you do the maths you might find out that your date of birth is closer to the reign of Queen Victoria than it is to the present day. And that's not even me taking the piss!!
