Cracking, reading it at the minute. Read Less Than Zero, his first book, not too long ago. Very good.

Black Swan Green by David Mitchell for light reading.

God is not Great by Christopher Hitchens really got me thinking and definitely changed my life.

Read a private life of the brain by Susan Greenfield. Fascinating book about the undeniable link between conscious thought and human emotion, and how they have always been treated as separate by the medical profession. She is a neurosurgeon so very interesting.

Seen quite alot of Novels mentioned, however Iv got into reading alot of philosophy recently..

Any book by Eckhart Tolle are an eye opening read, aslong as you have a open mind!!

Conversations with God is also an inspirational book (dont worry its not a religious book, infact it dismiss's religon)

Touching the void is also a great book based on a true story of a pair of climbers, where one had to decide to cut the rope of his partners and his partner still survived!

The title is a bit.. but I found this list that someone made on Amazon, as I'd already read Clockwork Orange/Plath/Fear and Loathing which are on here I'd like to read the rest of them. Does anyone particularly like or know any of the books? Just from reading the descriptions they all seem pretty interesting <ok> I've heard of a few of the rest but not read them..

I've seen the movie of The Virgin Suicides and thought it was pretty good <ok>

Also, i've read Catcher In The Rye, it's good if you're into the whole 'disgruntled youth' thing as the whole book centres on what Holden Caulfield (the protagonist) finds phoney, and him trying to act the grown up. I'd recommend it!
