Second in the league, , 4 points clear of watford, a great chance of automatic promotion, if not a nailed on play off place. A manager who is doing great in only his first season at the club.

Anyone booing is a ****ing idiot.

I never heard any booing on the tv, suprised you did fez.

Cary on watching. And hear the comments about how crowd were getting edgy and how this was transmitting itself to the players. Hear the comments about how flat the atmosphere was for such an important game. And hear the booing which people sat nearby apparently couldn't hear although some of us did.

Don't see why people booing are idiots or plastics. Some of us have earned the right to have a good boo over the years, and if we want to boo we shall boo.

Everywhere we go everyone will know we boo city...

I did watch it all, yes they did say the crowd were getting edgy. There has never been a scientific test done to prove the players get edgy by the crowd or have any bearing on how they play. As for the booing, I could hear a noise but couldn't make it out properly, my lad said it was booing but I wasn't sure.
Possibly the hood on my onesie was muffling it

You should get a onesie with earholes, you'd be surprised how much more pleasant it is to wear when you can hear properly. Mine also has a flask pouch, which is a real bonus.

Win some. Draw some. Lose some.

Thats football.......fail to beat so called easy games. Thats always been Hull City.

    Leicester will beat watford....

We will lose v barnsley on purpose to piss watford off then beat Cardiff.

It wouldnt suprise me though i WANT us to beat barnsley of course..

    Been a great season.

    We are going up.....

I'm having one of them. With it been an away game though bob I'm taking two flasks. One with tea in obviously and the other is one of them Stanley ones with a spoon in the lid full of chunky soup. I like to get in the stadium early, introduce myself to the stewards; make sure theyre aware of the relevant laws re: standing not being allowed. Then I sit down and eat my chunky soup then snuggle into my onesie for a nap before kick off.

Someone on here and Humberside both commented about the KC being poor for creating an atmosphere. Burnsie responded (not for the first time either) that anyone saying that should sample the atmosphere at rugby league.

Seriously? They have much less to cheer about than us. But then again they're allowed to sup beer in the stands which I imagine helps gee a few up. I think the rugby support has a higher proportion of working class fans that aren't afraid to open their gobs, were as our support is generally much more of a mix of backgrounds. Many who feel a bit of clapping is enough to show your support.

As for for the booing - it was a poor performance, but there was no need to boo. I think it started as a limited few and the sheep followed. Some teens in front of me that have been at every game since Christmas, never seen them before that. They're very excitable. When the flare went off in E2, it was like someone had fed them a full tube of those blue smarties that were once banned for having too many E numbers in them. They heard a few boo's at the end and joined in like little excited sheep. At the other end of the spectrum, they join in with all the chanting.

Maybe the rugby fans withe their smaller crowds can actually sit where they choose instead of being wedged between mute flaskers, hence they can generate more noise.

Rugby fans also seem to relish the tackles etc "gerroff him!" as much as the tries and goals, so seem to have more to get "excited" about.

If you watched Sky as the game happened (or taped that full programme) you clearly hear it as the final whistle is blown; just as others on here heard it at the ground while others didn't. One poster heard them told to 'shutthefuckup'. I agree, 'anyone booing is a ****ing idiot', even though the football was far from what we are capable of.

I believe we have a very good chance of automatic still, but nowhere near as good as two games ago and if we get dragged into the play-offs then the standard of football we have seen lately will not be good enough. Our lack of ability to score consistently, no matter who we play, bring in or get back from injury is simply baffling; we score in spurts and hopefully we are due one away at Barnsley.

Mountain out of mole hill. You can't legislate for a few tossers.

To be fair I think folk have become to take our excellent defence for granted, although we did have a severe wobble not so long ago. Stockdale had a decent game, but misjudged an excellent cross that tested his positioning. But yeah, the defence was a big positive; but do you believe the midfield and attack were? We were shaded at home on every statistic and we can never have a bigger incentive to do better. The the look on his face and the shake of the owners head was enough to sum it up; or perhaps he was disappointed at the booing. It's not the end of the world, far from it, but if everyone is honest, we seriously thought it should have been the end of our promotion campaign. It wasn't so onwards and upwards to Barnsley.

It only takes one window licker booing near one of their many crowd noise microphones to pick it up.
