PNP & Power

Come on guys, its all relative, we were only trying to draw with Wigan! price tags should make no diference here. I wasn't trying to make comparisons, as you say PNP, its the theory drum I've been banging here, at least you agree with that.<ok>

But it makes a difference! I've never rated Defoe as a clinical striker and I can't remember the last time he popped up and scored a crucial goal after going missing the entire game. I think AVB has found a system that Defoe works in but if we go to 4411 or 442 I'd much rather have Ade and Dempsey because I genuinely believe they are more likely to score. You don't have to agree but the claim was made on here that AVB's decison was ridiculous and it plainly wasn't.

Imo it doesn't, due to our opposition with all due respect to them, and nor am I saying JD is a clinical finisher. All I'm saying that however previously bad, you should maximise your chances with whatever it is you have, when all else has failed, in times of emergency, and 1-0 down at home to Wigan would qualify for that description. I think thats all I have to say on the subject. <ok>
